Cool plant!
My African Spear plant arrived in less than a week after ordering it and was carefully packed in a long, small, but strong box. Was shipped bare root as described. The plant was green and looked healthy. Had a nice large root and two "babies" sprouting out from the main plant. Only a bit of soil was around the root, but the root was not dried out. Measured 8" and about the thickness of my pinkie finger. I immediately planted it in a 6" ceramic pot (smallest pot I had on hand) in regular organic soil and gave it a good drink of purified, room temp water. Yes, I baby my plants. I allow the soil to become dry before watering again. I keep her in a medium light area. She is doing well and seems to be a happy little plant in her new home.

Underwhelmed
I thought I was receiving a smal cluster of the plant, but instead it was a single spear with barely any roof attached. Underwhelmed.

Single leaf
Plant is rooted but very dry and has a rotted part. And just a single leaf stick. Not sure f it will grow. I'm so disappointed.will order again from this seller.

I received the African Spear promptly. It is doing very well in our little somewhat dark house which gets some morning sun.
