COLOR WOW Root Cover Up – Temporary Hair Color Touch-Up

Great for in-between times when I need to touch up roots. This shade is a little too blonde and the light brown is a little too dark; I wish they made a larger range of shades. Some reviewers have complained that it doesn't work like the video, which I hadn't seen. Based on the photos on the page, it would take a very long time to cover up roots of that length. I think the company says 60 seconds; I would say that that much hair would be more like 15 minutes. The brush is very small, but I'm just using it to cover gray. If you have brown hair and very noticeable roots, it's going to take a long time to cover it with the tiny brushes. For just the gray at my temples and visible at the part, it goes on relatively quickly (about 2 minutes) and stays on in humid weather. Not sure what would happen in the rain without an umbrella and I wouldn't wear it to go swimming, but it stays put in normal conditions and looks natural.

I was shocked that this received such good reviews...this did not work for me AT ALL. Maybe because I'm using the blonde color? Complete waste of money

I have color and highlights. Use Blonde Wow root cover a few weeks before color to hide new gray growth. Blends well and easy to use

Product worked okay for touching up roots, however didn’t work to touch up highlights. Maybe I could have selected lighter color.

This product works well for blondes. It covered up dark roots before I could get back to the hairdresser. I don’t think anyone noticed the application of the cover-up.

I do not recommend as this did not cover up like other products I have tried before .

FAB! Really works!

I have brown hair with blonde highlights and bought the blonde to touch up my highlights. The color of the product in its packaging looked right, it's definitely a blond that is lighter than my hair, so I had high hopes. But, this product does NOT worked. I watched all of the videos to make sure I'm using the right techniques. To start with, not much product goes onto the brush (I tried both ends). Next, the product does not deposit on the hair, I just had power going on to my forehead and my shirt, making a mess. The product reminds me of eyeshadow, if you can imagine putting eyeshadow in your hair. Whatever they use on the promotional videos it is NOT the stuff they sell. And, they make you box it up and label it to return it (most returned items can be dropped off at a UPS store without a box or label). So, this product gets an "F" from me in every category!

Good coverage

Works for great coverage and lasts, does not stain head dont drop it or you end up with a mess of powder

Not worth the money. There is not enough pigments to actually cover darker roots. What a joke
