In December 2019, as a family Christmas present, I bought the Rainbow Flatware Set Colorful Stainless Steel Silverware Dinnerware, 20-piece set for 4. I waited a while before reviewing because I wanted to see how well/long they'd last because it was a whimsical buy. Six months later, it turns out that they work very well for every day use! They weigh & balance well in your hand; the colors are magnificent and they HOLD, despite using every day & with dishwasher use. They aren't flimsy by any means; no pits, dings or bending. The knives are serrated and they cut rather well! The only difference between these & the kind you probably already have in your drawer is the color. THOSE COLORS!! My family even chooses these over the standard stainless steel pieces that we still have. Look at my picture; wouldn't you do the same? My only regret is that I didn't buy two sets! We love these. They'd make a great gift for you or someone special. Some day, I just might even buy stainless steel some pots & pans to match just because it's fun to have a little color around the house.

One never knows quite what to expect when making an on-line purchase from an unknown supplier, but I received my rainbow silverware last night, and was simply astounded by the quality. Not only are the pieces beautiful, but they are surprisingly substantial--much more so, in fact, than the set I was replacing. They have a wonderfully secure feel in the hand without being too heavy. I inspected each piece as i unpacked them, and found no flaws in any of the pieces, which were individually wrapped. Some reviews have mentioned that the tablespoons are quite large, more like serving spoons, and with that I must agree. However, who uses a tablespoon at the table, anyway?! I generally use my tablespoons for the serving bowls at the table, and so these will be perfect for that; they would be a bit large for eating soup or cereal, but that's what a teaspoon is for, after all. I can't speak yet as to how the finish will hold up, but I will say that I tend to hand-wash my flatware, anyway, although several other reviews mention putting them without incident through the dishwasher. So I do plan to eventually update this review and speak to how well the finish has held up. But I have to say, just on appearance, weight and flawless pieces, this set really surpassed my expectations.

I could not be more pleased with this set. Okay, the tablespoons are a bit big, but I already knew that from reading the reviews, so I can't really complain, and don't feel like it's worth docking a star for (plus, I have a big mouth, so that's fine...haha). These are nicely made, thick and sturdy, and the colors are glorious. No, they're not Oneida perfect, but they're close, and for the price? The quality is amazing. They're not at all bendy, they're well-balanced, and the rounded ends don't poke into your palm (I hate silverware with square or pointy ends). But really...I mostly love them because they're just pretty and fun! So happy I bought them!

I am a recent empty nester and needed that home 'glow up' parents often do when their kids move out. I always bought cheap silverware because I knew it would eventually disappear and there would only be two spoons and one fork. My struggle was real. But now I got fancy, quality utensils. I never knew eating yogurt in my PJ's while watching TV could be a luxurious experience. The colors are beautiful and the heft and feel of them are nice in my hand. The price I paid did not hurt my wallet either. Now to purchase matching plates.

I was afraid my husband would object but he loves these rainbow utensils. The color is just like on the photos with mostly purples, blues and greens. I started with a set of 4 but will order a second set. As someone said... the tablespoons have a large bowl and will be used as serving spoons. The larger forks have nice weight, length and the tines are spaced nicely for eating with. The teaspoons have a somewhat round bowl that will make them good for thinner soups as well as stews / puddings and such. The small forks are smaller in all dimensions than I expected - I wish they were a bit longer but they'll work fine. And the knives will be nice for butter and cutting cooked foods.

These turned out as expected. I was a little concerned that the colors my not be consistent with the picture, but I am really pleased with them. The colors are pretty deep, so the bright yellows do not show up as much in some photos as the deep reds and blues. None of mine were scratched, but I suspect they will get this way over time since the handles are flat and wide. The quality was better than I expected. They are heavy, and do not feel like a cheap set with a cool color scheme. This is a great deal for the price. I bought some other pieces that have not arrived yet. I am sure there is a big risk of other pieces/sets not matching. We'll see. I am updating review because I received the steak knives and serving set. I posted a picture from my order page because if your looking at doing the same you will know which sets to order. The all work great together. Two exceptions are the two of the serving pieces. Not sure which two but they appeared a little yellow compared to the others. They still match since the colors are pretty varied. Happy with the purchase of all 3 sets. Update: 10 months later still look great! No fading, scratching, flaking. Run through the dishwasher daily. They hold up great!!!

After looking at EVERY rainbow silverware set on Amazon that had any ratings (literally — this took hours but I try to be an aware consumer, so we only purchase what we can actually use and are likely to enjoy), I finally decided on this one from Hommaly, which was $24.99 when I bought it. It was $22.99 the day before but prices seem to randomly fluctuate on Amazon. I liked that it was returnable just in case, and they sent a card offering an extended warranty for 18 months with registration. The set came quickly and after trying it out, I'm surprised by how much I like it! It feels sturdy and good in hand, just like all the other reviewers said. It's sooo beautiful and makes my family happy just to see it! It really feels like quality silverware. The reason for 4 stars is that some of the pieces have rough edges and some have observable imperfections. We've only used and carefully washed the set once so far, so I can't speak to longevity. If I notice anything to improve or reduce the rating after more use, I'll come back and adjust the review. I'd buy another set if they had them and kept the price competitive and am really hoping the quality ends up being as good as it initially seems. Overall, I'm very happy with this and consider it a great purchase!

These are just plain fun. Something different from the old usual. My grown boys thought they were pretty cool looking
