It works great!!
I installed this motor on my Hercules 555/ Juki 5550 industrial sewing machine and works great! Swapping out the old clutch motor was pretty easy, the new bracket lines up perfectly with old screw locations. I did have to replace the belt, I went from a 3L410 to a 4L380 and still have adjustment in both directions. It's well worth the money.

Great upgrade
Replaced clutch motor on my consew 225. Runs smoother and is easier to control. Also added a small pulley to slow it down

Great Motor for a Vintage Industrial Sewing Machine
This is a good value and not hard to install. There is room for adjustment for the set up you may have. My own was a decades old table and machine and it still worked. I did not need to drill holes but had tools ready in case I did. Not mentioned but you will likely need a new belt so consider having an adjustable one on hand so you can try this motor out and adjust it correctly.

Huge inprovement over a clutch motor
Once you get the feel for your peddle you can make the sewing machine speed crawl.
