Not for V-Flats
I got this to use to create V-flats from foamcore boards. Since the tape is 2" wide and the boards are .5" thick, when stacking and taping, the total thickness is 1". So I decided to overlap the tape on the spine edge, so it would have more than just the thin 1/4" to grab the face of the board, to be more durable. I taped it all up and they looked perfect. Within a couple of days of the boards standing there, closed, leaning against the wall, all the tape popped off! It had no ability to stick to itself! The strange thing is that on one of the boards, it didn't stick to the board on neither the black nor the white side, yet on the other board, it had an intense grip that took quite a bit of effort to peel off! The boards were purchased on the same day from the same warehouse, so they came from the same manufacturer and lot. It's soooo strange! I was so upset because I spent so much time meticulously doing the job, and it all fell apart. Oddly, I purchased black tape and white tape of two different brands. The results were identical for both the black side of the boards and the white sides of the boards!

Just like the Black Version, but sometimes you need White
I recently made some foam core panels from insulation board with one side painted black and one side white to use in my photo/video studio. I wanted to tape the edges to improve their strength and decided that gaffers tape would be sufficient. Sine I would be priming and painting both sides of the panel with latex paint with one side flat black and the other flat ceiling white, it probably didn't matter what color tape was used, but since the white side of the panel would be more frequently used, it seemed that the white tape would be the better choice, since the paint would likely get knocked off the tape during extended use. I'm happy to say that my white gaffers tape decision for this was a good one.I have also used the white tape for attaching 10 X 14' backdrops to the steel rollers of my ceiling mounted multi backdrop roller system. Even when unrolled to the very end and only the tape is holding the muslin fabric to the roller, it holds quite well.

Works well and leaves no residue so far
I’ve used this for a few weeks now and I like it better than duct tape. It is easier to rip yet sticks well and releases nicely . I just used some with a plastic bag to keep water off a furnace outlet while replumbing a humidifier and it stuck well to the plastic and furnace. It doesn’t stick as tightly as gorilla tape but it’s still very strong and works the way you’d want it to work. Also the gorilla tape adhesive is more gummy and leaves residue while this hasn’t so far

Best economy-grade gaff tape I've found
I've used several brands of economy-grade gaff tape over the years. This is my new favorite and I'm ordering more. It's adhesive is stronger that GaffersPower brand, and still has a clean release. It also has a better black matte finish (almost no gloss whatsoever). It tears easily and cleanly with fewer 'threads' than some brands. The only potential negative is that the adhesive side is bright white instead of the dull grey that some other brands are. Not a problem for my applications though.

Surprised by its durability, compared to traditional duct tape.
I ordered these because they were on sale not knowing what gaffer tape was. I was pleasantly surprised by its durability compared to traditional duct tape. I can use these anywhere i use a duct tape and not worry about paint been peeled off from walls. its easy to break apart by hands and does not leave ANY sticky residue and maintains almost the same adhesion as a duct tape.

Not good for Lowe’s panels. Not pure white
I’m a photographer, I bought this to hold down some white Lowe’s panels for photography. 1-it’s not pure white. 2- the part of the tape that was on the floor didn’t stay down. 3-the part taped on the Lowe’s panels when pulled up destroyed the panels and pulled the white up.

Very sticky, durable
I bought this tape for bookbinding, and it was perfect. If you know anything about bookbinding the white tape is generally not seen, so I am not looking for a nice tear. however, this tape happens to come with a nice tear. it is slightly difficult to tear and for some pieces, I had to use a razor knife. It has a weird smell. It is very sticky which might be good or bad depending on what you are using it for, and it seems to remove easily. Overall for $11, this two-pack is the best white gaffers tape I have purchased.

Great product
I am very happy with the tape. The thickness, strength along with easy to tear is what I was looking for, and got. When you tear/cut is does not leave strands, like duct tape does. The price was also great. Would buy from this seller again.
