The drawer slides in and out fine, the container for food swings down easily, and it looks great in the corner, instead of the bulky plastic food container we had. The only downside, it holds less food than it suggested. It estimated about 40 pounds, but space wise it only held about 20. Still plenty, but not a whole bag for a large dog.
