Soda Bottle Water Rocket Preassembled Launcher Toy

This was so very fun. We got it for a reunion. We collected 2 liter bottles and everyone decorated their own. They went far up in the air. We had so very much fun. The kids and adults loved it.

I fastened mine to a piece of plywood for stability. It came without instructions, which the company emailed to me. It works well and is a lot of fun. Don't use lake water or water with sand in it, because the sand causes the bottle to stick to the launcher.

A good basic, introductory setup for launching water-bottle rockets. I wanted to get my 11 year old grandson exposed to some practical science. This launcher works very well, with heights of 150' easily achieved. I suggest using only two-liter Coke product bottles as Pepsi uses a slightly small bottle neck ID which makes launching erratic. Replacement parts are cheap and fixing this rig is part of the experience. I did add a pair of Ty-Wraps to act as leaf springs to hold up the weight of the release collar. Odd, but the family dogs seem really excited to watch launches too. This system will teach you a lot about rockets and engineering, and is a gateway to chemical rockets and other projectile launcher systems. You learn by hands-on doing and repairing. And, at the first launch, watch your kid's face instead of the rocket.

Ordered this to use as part of a summer "maker camp" and was thrilled with the results. The company sent detailed instructions for assembly via email making set up super simple. Had no trouble with operation. It wasn't long before the kids completely took over. This is perfect for science classes or summer camps to introduce force and motion, flight and rocketry, aerodydymics, Newton's Laws of Motion, etc. It would also be ideal for science or rocket themed birthday parties or just family fun. I had my camp kids attempt the enginneer two liter bottles in hopes of making them more aerodynamic. This presented great opportunities to design and iterate. Kids had a blast. Some even found ways to add parachutes that would deploy after launch. Highly recommended!!

Works very well, thank you.I like this product better than factory made ones. People become curious about it and ask me questions when they see this. That is exactly what I needed - curious eyes and questions. I had grate time with kids not only playing with the rocket, but also explaining how things work. I might order more from this seller.

The product worked immediately out of the box, and even though the box was extremely damaged this toy was strong with no breaks at all. Very simple and easy to set up, but make it noted than this will not probably not work if you use anything other than a 2L bottle. Also easy to set up, in general this is a great toy for any child interested in water rockets. Ask any questions if needed.

delivered in a box, a lot of parts, not for the amatuer. most parts held together by zip ties. once you put it together, you cannot dismantle. launcher tipped a lot during use.
