I love this for my dogs, and it has mesh where the AC blows in the back seat of my SUV so my pups get plenty of cool air when it's hot, great design!

When I bought this, I was so excited. I had a road trip that upcoming weekend so thinking all would be well, I didn’t open the packaging until the day or the trip right before I left. The first thing I noticed was the SMELL. It was AWFUL. The worse kind of chemical smell of this universe. It was so powerful it gave me a headache almost immediately. Thinking it would be fine if I just set it up on my car and then left the doors open to air it out, I set out with the rest of my last minute activities before departing for my trip. When I came back with the doggos and set out for the trip I noticed the smell definitely did NOT go away, but I was already running late and needed to hit the road and not using it wasn’t much of an option unless I wanted an excessive amount of dog hair everywhere. My puppers are border collie mixes and sheds like crazy. I turned my AC up and rolled down the windows hoping it would help. It didn’t. And to make matters worse, my dog THREW UP ON HIS SISTER. I once again had a headache and felt horrible that I put my dogs through that. I still had the plastic packaging it came in and put it in that after cleaning up the best that I could at a gas station. So obviously, it was a fail for this trip.Undeterred, I still believed it could be a good product. It looked durable, I was able to clean up the vomit fairly easily, and it fit inside my vehicle nicely. When I returned home from the trip, I washed it. Two tide pods and those smelly good crystals were no match for the SMELL. So, I repeated the process. The smell was still there but muted so I believed I had somewhat cured the problem. NOPE. Even though I didn’t use it right after, about a month later, I was in need of it once again. I noticed that the smell was fighting its way back but once again, in a hurry I ignored it. I took my dog to the vet and on the way there, he vomited, yet again, except this time all over the car door. (For those of you who think this could be car sickness-it’s not. My dog has never showed any indications before this occurred and since I have stopped using the product he has not since. It was the SMELL.)Another con is this thing is really slick so my poor (very heavy) babies would feel uncomfortable when riding in the car (they would slide around or stand the whole time).Anyways, besides the smell it could be a good product but I will be throwing mine away as I don’t want to put any more puppers through that kind of torture ever again.

Although I’ve only had this hammock in the car for a week, I’m impressed with how it looks and performs. I bought this to replace my first one because it didn’t have a mesh opening in the center. After a year with my first cover, I decided I would feel better and my two large dogs would be more comfortable if heat and A/C circulated directly to them from the vehicle’s vents. I’m glad I choose this car cover because it fits my 4Runner like a dream, it has no odor, and so far it’s tested well with my 80-lbs. lab mix and 115-lbs. BMD. On his first ride with this hammock, my big dog stood on the bottom of the mesh a couple of times peering into the front seat (as he normally does) and after the trip, I checked the mesh for holes from his large, thick nails and was happy to find no tears or damage! Attached are pics showing this cover from the side door, from the driver’s seat, and carrying precious cargo – who also seems pleased with my purchase. This seat cover is super easy to install, and has saved me from having to vacuum the backseat and floor every time someone sits back there. The pockets are very handy and the mesh in the center is perfect. Living where the summers are hot, my dog can still feel the ac blowing on him. It’s durable! I highly recommend.

This cover will work fine for me. It fits my Ford Explorer well and will keep the sand, dirt, and pet hair off the seats. It doesn’t slip on the cloth seats and should keep dampness off them, though I haven’t had wet dogs in it yet. There are little flaps that protect the sides of the seat. I would have liked them a bit longer so they would cover the step/edge that my dog uses before he jumps out, but not a big deal. Pretty good value for the price. Not sure how it will hold up in the wash. I don’t know if I’ll like the little strap that will attach to seat belt and dogs harness. Seems pretty thin. I will have to look at other options. The color is a light black. The sun makes it look lighter in the attached pictures.

I've got a large pup who has managed to EASILY split the seams of 4 previous "tough" seat covers in 3 months or less. I know I'm going to jinx it now, but this has held up to his brutal assault for over a year and a half. I believe my first one had a damaged buckle, but Amazon sorted it out, and the second has been nothing but wonderful. 5 stars, and 4 paws up.

I didn’t expect much for such a low price, but I thought, if it survives two weeks of vacation travel with the dogs, It would be worth the money. I love the Apex car seat cover, I will order another one for our truck, I drive a SUV and it fits perfectly, also in our extended cab Ford Pick Up. Easy to install and adjustable snaps make it easy to remove, if the backseat is needed for children’s car seats or other cargo, it is rugged and the mess is tough enough for scratchy paws to attack it. The rubber bottom keeps spills and moisture of your car seats and you can vacuum, launder or simply hose it off! The two pockets are handy and large enough to hold health records, snacks or cleanup bags and rags. I can’t find anything negative about this product, love it, so do my rowdy dogs!

I actually reallllllly like this. Also love that it is paired with a seat buckle clip. I can clip my dog into her harness and i don't have to stress about her moving around the back seat. It is super easy to clean. I take it out of my car, throw it on the side walk, and just vaccum right over it! It is also super easy to get installed and love that it is also waterproof! Which comes in handy when you have a puppy or a dog obsessed with water :)
