Yumbox Leakproof Bento Lunch Box Container (Pink Lemonade) for Kids

I bought this for my daughter who started Kindergarten last week. i have been packing lunch for her everyday in this, and I have to say it is amazing!! Super well made, and the divisions make it really easy to pack lunch since I don't have to worry about it leaking into the other. The suction on the lid is superb. I put apple sauce in one section, hummus in another, and dressing, and none of it leaved to the other parts!I would recommend this to anybody, even adults! It fits a lot of food as well. I also like that the food container parts have pictures of the food group, such as fruit, grains, veggies, protein, etc. and has a proportioned in that way, so we can make sure our kids are having the food groups they need! 5 stars all around. They also have variety of colors! My kiddo loves it. I would say it probably is a little pricey, but worth every penny since my kids going to be using it daily for years, I Hope. I also want to mention that is is dishwasher safe on the top rack. They do recommend for the out side shell to be handwashed for presevation of the seal, however can still be dishwasher washed.

I can't tell you how much my daughter and I love this lunch box! My 5 year old started school this year and was very eager to take her lunch. I didn't want to send her with a ton of small packages she'd need to open or have someone else open for her. I did some reading up on bento lunch boxes and came across this one, and another one marketed toward kids. I ended up with this one only because it has a single latch and the other one had two. I figured one would be much easier for my daughter. Each night we put foods of her choices into the different areas. I love that it helps us make sure she gets foods she likes. She may not always eat it, but the options are there. Her favorite spot is the little circle that would be good for dips...we put a couple m&m's in there for her "desert". It keeps all the foods in separate sections and so far nothing has leaked into another one. We put it in her Frozen lunch bag along with a frozen chill back. Love love love this thing! We may get another in a different color!

I can't say enough good things about these lunch boxes! My kids love them, can open and close them easily and independently and are excited to eat anything I put in them! They are easy to wash, don't leak and fit perfectly in the standard Disney insulated lunch bags that are sold everywhere at back to school time. They are a pain to dry, but air dry great if you leave them for a couple hours. We have four in rotation for two kids and have dragged these boxes on airplanes, road trips, to parks and the beach... and to school, of course! We've had no issues and they seem pretty tough. I've recommended them to everyone I know with small children, and several have purchased them. My kids are 4 and 5, and these hold enough food for them. I'm guessing by seven or eight they may be a bit small.

My daughter LOVES this lunchbox. It doesn't leak at all- Each section remains exactly where i put it, even when it gets bounced around in her backpack. I love the labels for the food groups. My daughter now eats veggies for lunch! I love that it gives her a mental image of protions, so that when she eats somewhere else, she knows how much is appropriate.Its dishwater safe and super easy to clean. I usually prepare food at night and put in fridge for the next day, so I don't know if it holds heat or not.

We love the style and easy opening of this box, but had a big problem with the food tray sticking into the lid every time it was opened. It took significant effort to break the seal and separate the food tray from the lid, which was causing a big mess when the preschool teachers tried to do this every day at lunch time. I contacted the manufacturer with photos and they agreed we had a defective unit after having us do a test with a paper towel in the bottom of the box.

I was so excited to get this in last week bc I'm one of "those" Mommas who love to make my kids thematic lunches that take some time to put together.But, I was soon dismayed bc my daughter's lunch has been ruined twice by her dip (quite thick ranch dip) leaking out from the tiny round compartment into the rest of the areas.Very, very disappointed.

Love the portion sizes and the food groups on this Bento box. We bought it for our 3 yr old daughter to take for preschool. She absolutely loves it. We did try yogurt in one of the compartments and it did leak. I'm not sure if it happened when they opened it at school, or if it happened before it got opened. Easy to clean and very well made.

This is a nice design, and the little compartments seem to encourage our children to eat more. It's a little tough to clean though, and bacteria seems to want to grow on the inside rubberized top. Is OK if you stay on top of it. We use ours daily. It's a cute and functional piece.
