Arepas Colombianas (Arepa Blanca/White Corn Cake)

In my opinion, these are the best arepas you can buy in the U.S. among commercial brands. They taste much better than many brands that you can buy in South America, though the competence there is fierce. I have bought already more than 10 packs. I started to buy these arepas because my local supermarket didn't bring more arepas after the pandemic began, and they taste much better (more "homemade", so to speak) than the brand I bought for several years. If you decide to buy them, I suggest that you keep in mind that the cost of delivery from Florida is usually covered if you buy more than X packs (currently is 6 packs, I believe). You can mix several types of arepas of the same brand, and that can really lower the price per pack.

The product is great. Remind me of the Antioquia region of Colombia, were the arepa is the bread. No meals are served without this companion. To tell the truth I was a little existan to order the product because I was afraid that it will arrive spoiled. To my surprise it was prompt delivered and well packed (I live on the Midwest) It took only three days to arrive from the time I place the order!! The quality is great and the taste as expected. Very satisfied with my experience and for sure I will be a returning customer. Only one request to La Montana, keep the good quality, packing and delivery!!!

Lástima, siempre llegan vinagres, parece que las meten calientes al refrigerador y eso las vinagra... Me van a tener que devolver todo el dinero que les he pagado por un producto que siempre llega malo. Gracias.

The closest to “home” you can get! Perfect Arepas; fresh, perfect thickness, easily open when toasted, & very fair price! This is my third time buying and I will continue to keep stocked in the fridge. The whole family love and often are my go to when I have to eat dinner after 7pm because of work. Naturally gluten-free & satisfying.

La Montaña went ahead and replaced my order with new and fresh arepas Free of charge They shipped it out this time via UPS and got my package on time. I like these arepas but the ingredients list sodium benzoate as “less than 1%”. That could be 10 times the MAXIMUM amount allowed by the FDA (0.1%). That is a concern for me.

Very hard to find these in the Nashville TN area, so finding these on Amazon was a blessing! delicious and FAST delivery ! great seller!!! This is my 3rd order and always awesome and shipped fast!

These are very good arepas, they ship vacuum sealed in an insulated box. I highly recommend.
