It actually does raise PH by two points
I just used this today for the first time so I have no clue as to it's health benefit but I used my PH meter and it raised this fantastic water here in Red Bluff ca, one of the very best municipal waters in the U.S I had 7.5 on tap water and after twenty minutes in the container it went to 9.5 as advertised. You will need a larger unit if more than one person is using it as there is a half hour wait for the water to process and then your only making about ten oz. five star rating is based on it actually raising the PH by two points.

Do not buy!
Water is not alkaline or hydrogenated, the metal piece with the rocks in it broke within a week of me having it and all the little rocks keep coming out, and overall it is well overpriced for this snake oil garbage!

As Advertised
I ordered this item because the alkaline water bottle that I had been using dropped and broke. I wanted to find one that was slightly larger with an easier drinking cap. The Lifewater bottle is everything that was promised. I have not yet looked for replacement filter media. Hopefully that will not be too hard to find.
