WWF: WrestleMania XV - The Ragin' Climax

The 3 way match for the Hardcore title was not great but pretty good and the same goes for the Woman's title match between Sable & Tori. The World tag team title match between the team of Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart against the team of D-Lo Brown & Test was short but sweet. The Brawl For All boxing match between Butterbean & Bart Gunn was crud to the 10th power. The Mankind-Big Show match was so-so with a cruddy ending. The 4 corners elimination match for the IC title was pretty good for a 4 corners match. The HHH-Kane match was a hard-hitting brawl with a lousy DQ ending. The European title match between Shane McMahon & X-Pac was a fun & entertaining bout with a twist that you have to see to belive. The Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker & The Big Boss Man was a sloppy but solid brawl. The No-DQ match for the World title between The Rock & Steve Austin was a fun,entertaining,hard-hitting,hardcore streetfight. I give this PPV a 7 out of 10.

Even though I ordered this vhs back in mid-November, and it finally arrived a few days ago, after a long time waiting. It came in very good condition and well worth the wait.

Wrestlemania 15 was very awful. Only about 3 matches are watching and that is including the WWE title match. It had a good opener but the ppv didn't give much after that. Very poor ppv put together.1. Hardcore ChampionshipBilly Gunn vs. Al Snow vs. Hardcore HollyThis was actually a good match up to start things off. It was very high energitic. It progressed at a good pace and their were some interesting weapons brought into the match. Holly takes a hard chair shot to the head from Gunn. there was a nice table crash too. Snow added some comedy to the match as well. pretty good opener to say the most. 3.5/52. WWE Tag Team ChampionshipTest & D Lo Brown w/ Ivory vs. Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart w/ DebraPretty decent tag match here. Some nice tag team moves and some good counters but it ended so soon. about 7 or 8 minutes at the most in length. average match. 2.5/53. Brawl for All Boxing MatchButterbean vs. Bart GunnVince tryed so hard to get us to believe that Gunn was actually a prime boxer but to me he didn't showed me $h!* in this match. Very stupid a55 segment right here. I belive Butterbean took it easy too. Buttermean knock Bart's a55 out in the first 30 seconds, HAHA. 0.5/54. Big Show vs. MankindThis match was here to declare the special referee in the main event. It had some decent physicality. Some hard shots as well but this wasn't wrestlemania material. this could have been saved for raw. The after match slap added more to the match. 3/55. Fatal Four Way for the Intercontinental ChampionshipRoad Dogg vs. Goldust vs. Val Venis vs. Ken ShamrockI didn't get the style of this match. The match more resemble of a tag match than a fatal four way. You had to tag to enter the match. One of the best match on the card though. Some good wrestling and some good high risk too. Pretty cool reversals as well. Had a pretty good ending. 3.5/56. Triple H vs. KaneBefore the match got underway, Pete Rose gets tombstone once again by Kane. Pretty better than decent match. Some good outside brawling. Some good in ring work as well. Chyna would come to ringside and introduce the steel steps to the match. The dq really hurt the match rating a lot to me. It could have got a higher rating if it had a better ending. Triple H pedigrees Kane onto a steel chair though. 3.5/57. Women's ChampionshipSable vs. ToriThis was a pretty boring womens match up to me and Sable nor Tori are good women wrestlers by any means. Boring as hell to me. 1/58. European ChampionshipShane McMahon w/ Test vs. X-PacThis was to believe it or not probably the second best match of the night. Shane really proved himself in this match. Shane & X-Pac even whip each other with a leather belt in this one. A lot of interference from Test but it didn't really hurt the match. Some nice aerial moves and some good counters. Pretty good match. Triple H & Chyna would eventually turn their back on D-Generation X in this one. 4/59. Hell in the Cell MatchUndertaker w/ Paul Bearer vs. Big BossmanThis is defiantly the worst Hell in the cell match of all time. No real hell in the cell violence happening whatsoever. You even forget that this match was a Hell in the Cell match at times. A real disappointment right here. Lousy hell in the cell match. 2/510. WWE ChampionshipThe Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve AustinThis match was defiantly the match of the night but itself wasn't 5 stars to me. They added the no dq rule to the match which did added more to it. Pretty good match. Some good brawling on the outside and a good table spot. Good main event but this wasn't even good enough to buy this ppv. A nice ending to a very poor wrestlemania. 4.5/5Like I said, this was to me the third worst wrestlemania of all time. Very boring matches and not good whatsover. If you're a collector of wrestlemania's get it but other than that don't even worry about this one unless you buy the anthology sets.

I originally bought this only for the Tori vs Sable match because I'm such a Tori fanatic *lol* but I caught myself being glued to the tv throughout the entire pay per view! The Austin vs Rock main event was unbelievable and no part of the show was boring to me...unlike some of WWE's current pay per views. GREAT BUY!

The worst Mania of all-time? Debatable, I guess; you can always throw #3 in there just for taking into account McMahon booking Taker with Gonzalez or Yoko as the champ. I never saw the whole show, just snippets and the wikipedia rundown wants me to cover my nose, anyway. At least Bret recovered from Hulkamania's last WWF letdown...Anyway, there are much worse shows available, whether you like the Attitude, the Ruthless or more "modern stuff." Just watching it, hell it certainly beats TLC 2013. At any rate, not much on the card to complain about or zip past--Butterbean aside--not one bad match to really single out & yes, I know there's HIAC, but maybe Taker knows, so why drag it on for 20 minutes or leave the confines of the cage, when a tombstone to the outskirts of hell & noose will elevate whatever is missing?I don't know if there's ever a truly horrible Cell Match, that I can remember seeing on ppv or tv, unless some crappy gimmick held it up & that means HIAC may be "undisputed" entertainment; either that or the Chamber or Last Man Standing? Even if some folks don't like the so called BS draw finish that happens on occasions... 😉And if the cell was a letdown, then heed the old axiom that many Attitude fans or the WCW faithful had for years (like me); if the undercard for Vince sucks, then by gawd, the main event should be incredible anyway (paging the Olympic Hero, NWO 2006)...As if The Rock and Austin were going to ever stink up the joint, but--vest or no vest--who cried about disappointment after that epic. And somehow, they topped it at Backlash (The People's Camera)...

If there was more stars I would like to give a 10 star, I ordered yesterday (17/03/16) & got the wrestlemania 15 DVD today 18/03/16 (delivery was due between 22/03-06-04).The DVD was in brilliant mint condition & the wife & I fully enjoyed watching it. It definitely brought back memories of the attitude era with the factions of "The Ministry of Darkness" & Mr McMahon's "Corporation". A must see for WWE fans of today & of the past, the story lines back then were of the extreme not like today's WWE ie The Undertaker hanging the legendary & soon to be Hall of Famer Big Boss Man.

A very good Wrestlemania. Stone Cold vs The Rock was the superb match favourite. Various favourite matches for everyone to enjoy.
