Fun to use in card making
I’m enjoying drawing on, colouring, cutting out and then heating my Shrinkies to create features for homemade cards. It took me a couple of goes to get nice, flat objects. But, once I realised you have to keep heating (and flattening) longer than I was in the beginning, it worked perfectly - I’m using a heat gun and a teaspoon to press down/flatten, as I couldn’t get objects to lie flat enough for cards when using my oven.My pack of Shrinkies arrived quickly and well packaged. I’m very happy with this purchase.

i got these for work (i work at a day service) i tried them out before work to test them and theyre so great. the people at work were fascinated and loved having something to take home (we made magnets). i also did a few with my 7year old niece and her 4year old friend they coloured in images i traced then i sharpied the outline to make them stand out. they turned out great! we used pens pencils and stamps but the stamps didnt work great. i would recomend getting modge podge to seal in designs. i will be buying these again once weve used them up. i love how its such an inclusive activity for all ages and abilities.

Junk! Steer clear of CLEAR Shrinkles as you can only use perm markers
My young daughter used her own pocket money to purchase these and is now in floods of tears. They are useless. The Clear sheets are ridiculous and you CANNOT use felt tips, or pencils or even crayons despite the product info which says use pencils for best results. Permanent markers are the only option which is not something I want to (1) buy, or (2) let my young daughter use on her own, for obvious reasons, as they are permanent. This is a real shame and I'm bitterly disappointed as we've used similar (they were call Shrinkie-Dinks I think, in the past) and pencil colouring was very effective. This is a long review to say DO NOT waste your money, or worse, DO NOT let you kids waste their hard earned pocket money or their Birthday money on this rubbish. Pah! Junk.

Amazing product - great for working with kids (or just by yourself!). I have found I get the best results by using good quality coloured pencils, and then outlining in fine black permanent marker. It is always tempting to use pens (the children I work with always want to!) but these tend to go quite dark in the oven, and I think the pencils look better, myself.

Versatile, non-expensive, fun activity.
Brilliant, I used these as a child and found them online to use for the arts and crafts groups I do at my work/local community centre.Great fun for all ages, I've used them with 2-15 year olds, but even some of the parents had a go and got involved!I find sharpies the most effective, cheap markers smudge and paint flakes once they have shrunk.Hole punch them before you shrink them for a keyring, I just brought jump rings and keyrings in bulk off of Amazon too, or glue a magnet to the back depending on your choice of creation, those are the options I chose due to the size of the sheets, and I didn't cut them down as they are already small, and keyring/magnet size when shrunk. They take seconds to shrink in a heated oven, I placed them on a tray with baking paper, and squashed them with a smooth, hardback book to get rid of any slight curl.I find it easiest to heat one at a time so they're easy to flatten, they cook and cool very quick so not as time consuming as you think, even doing 60 in a row like I have (glutton for punishment).

Good fun and worked (mostly)
These are great. We used them to make cute handprint keyrings at nursery. They could do with being a little bigger to start with. We had to be careful about the placement of the hand to get it on. They were a lot of fun though and greatly received by all the mummies for Mother’s day. I would like it if they were a bit less smelly to bake. I think it’s best to do it in a well ventilated area. Most of ours worked but do allow for a few more sheets than you need. We found a few curled right up and couldn’t be rescued.

Would ge transparent next time
Great fun, the kids in my craft class loved these. Wish I'd bought transparent though as I think they would have been even more effective. Used Sharpies as that's what was recommended in other reviews, worked well.

Perfect for pins
These are perfect for making lapel pins as they are sturdy once shrunk, and the class sized sheet means you can fit 2 pins on one sheet! Very good value! I find that it takes alcohol markers and pencils very well, but pencils tend to rub off a bit but the colour doesn't come off once baked
