KOROMU Mounts IWAMOUNT Double Arm Articulating Wall Mount for Apple iPad 2/3/4, Silver and White

It does what I want it to do, which is hold a full size iPad under my kitchen cabinet; it folds out of the way, articulates for best viewing, and neatly stores back under the cabinet. I use it primarily while I am cooking, for recipes and such, but I can easily FaceTime while cooking, easily find other recipes, ideas, etc... without it being in the way (our counter tops tend to be occupied). I can also use it to control stereo and TV functions, but that's a nicety that I haven't set up yet (this is my wife's iPad; mine is an iPad-Mini but the mount only fits a full size iPad; I wanted a full size mount). The mount is secure, but I did have to use shorter screws than those provided; the included screws were too long and poked through the cabinet interior. The iPad is held securely under the cabinet, is very easy to place, mount, and set up. And, the price was right.

First - Why 4 stars and not 5 - I think they could have done a better job on the holder arms- they work well, but not sure if they will hold-up. If you are going to put an ipad in the holder and never take it out; then I see no issue - just question how long they will hold up to taking the ipad in and out of the mount.- Fit and Finish: Very nice, better than I expected for this price.- Easy of installation: 5 minutes with a philips-head screw driver - took longer to decide on the mounting location.- Articulating arm: Works very well and stays in position.Well worth the money.

This product works well on a table top but to scary and cumbersome to mount on a wall. I did a wall mock-up setup and found out that I have to remove the I-Pad cover before it can mount, and oooops, it fell. I would have damaged my I-pad if it were a real wall mount. If you try to swing it sideways or up and down, you have to be very careful, the 4 corners hooks (not brackets) will nor hold well. All of a sudden, it came to my conclusion that you are better off using like a simple book shelf, you can mount the I-Pad with out removing the cover and you can still swing it left or right. I am returning it.

Functions as described but will only work with a bare IPad.

I loved it but My iPad is an IPad Air and its shorter than iPad 4. I am sad because I wanted that iPad in my kitchen. The quality of the product Is great .

I use this wall mounted to hold an old iPad 2 to control my home theater. It is very well constructed and could easily hold more weight. The tension on each joint is adjustable (mine came very tight). I have set it to where it moves easily but tight enough that it does not move when I touch the screen (the screen itself can also be tilted up and down and swivel to use horizontally or vertically). I also text and e-mail from the iPad and again it stays in place. Given the construction (materials) and ease of use I find it extremely reasonable in price. It can also be table mounted, or can be used without fixing it to a surface (I'm not sure if or how much it might slide if not fixed to a surface since that was not my application). The iPad can easily be removed from the mount. The mount slides over the actual mounting piece (I would recommend stud mounting and it comes with two significant wood screws) and the actual arm is secured to the mount by a small fixing screw which can easily be removed if you wanted to remove the entire mount from whatever mounting surface you choose, so you can use the stand elsewhere (the mounting screw does need to be used if mounted to allow for the best movement when secured). I really cannot find a single fault and now knowing the quality would pay 3X the price.

This holds an iPad securely, stays in place when moved, and has a very secure wall mount system. It is also very low profile when fully retracted.The construction is primarily aluminum, with some plastic, but it feels substantial and solid. The iPad mounting is both correctly sized for an iPad and very secure. I have no doubts about the safety of my iPad in it.The one complaint is that the wall anchors are not really designed for holding this type of mount into drywall, as they don't expand until further back than 1/2 inch. I replaced them with screw-in anchors rated for #75 from the hardware store, and the mount is rock solid. I hope they add better wall anchors (perhaps the plastic screw-in self drilling type with a screw that can also hold a wood/metal stud).-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Long term update:The product holds the iPad securely. It is still easy to use, the tilt has enough fiction that it doesn't sag, and the extension is not getting loose or wobbly. Still thrilled with this as a mount!

I installed this mount in my kitchen over my breakfast nook so that I cant watch my netflix while eating or cooking without taking counter space. Now the mount itself is made of great quality, very strong and I can tell it wont fall apart any time soon. The mounting kit on the other hand is crap. The screws are useless and the drywall anchors are flimsy. so unless you are mounting this bad boy to a stud, I suggest you go down to home depot/lowes and buy yourself better anchors and screws.
