Very good quality. Extremely well made. Surprisingly heavy.
Despite my earlier fears that the basket may have arrived without the LIGHT CLIP, and the MOUNTING PLATE to engage with Rixen and Kaul's own handlebar bracket (already installed)... this did not happen. I must emphasise that EVERYTHING that appears in the description, and the illustration, arrived in good order and very promptly. The clip and mount plate were in a separate bag within the box, and came with simple instructions for installation. (see photo)The basket is extremely well made, and somewhat heavier than expected. I weighed it.. 1.2 kgs. The mesh is strong, the plastic coating is robust, and the handle does not rattle. The basket does bounce up and down quite a bit when riding along, and even on a smooth surface, but apart from shaking the front mounted lamp, doesn't cause a problem. However, I should point out that my main light is mounted lower down, at the top of the forks. The light on the basket is only an auxiliary which I set to 'flash' mode. If your main light was on the basket it would definately be less steady than mounted on the bike itself, although possibly better when the basket was loaded.Final point: While I am pleased with the basket, and pleased that nothing was missing, I have sympathy for anybody who was not delivered their full order. Missing parts. Although a great basket.
A great, solid, bike basket. But the photo shows that it comes with a fixing plate and light holder - neither of which appeared with the basket I ordered. I tried to explain this to Amazon, who didn't understand but very kindly sent me a new basket - with exactly the same items missing...

Finally one good basket that actually fits
It fit almost all bikes. Really proper material. Easy to mount too

Basket fine but no light holder as advertised.
The holder for the front light is missing. This is the only reason I bought this particular basket.
