Works well and like that it can move around easily.
My husband wanted a magnifier with a light but we didn't want to spend a ton of money since it won't be used daily. Most of the ones in our price range were clamp on and some were table lamps. We could have made those work, but really wanted a floor standing model. I decided to take a chance on this one and we've been pleasantly surprised. The light is strong enough for our needs and the magnifier lets him see to do detail work and have both hands free. He said it was easy to assemble. The only reason for the 4 stars is the concern that the joints or supports at the joints won't hold out long term. If we have it extended, it is a little off balance and could easily be knocked over. That might be something that isn't easy to remedy in any product like this so it might be an unfair judgement.Overall, it has worked great and does the job. We'll see how it holds up in the long run.
