Tap head ~0.326 inches, #8 socket about 0.328 inches as per back of card. Irwin also makes a 14mm x 1.25 spark plug tap (2449), which is currently not available on Amazon. This is a nice set, still Made in USA **Q: what size is the driver 3/8" or 1/2"** A: The first 4 sizes (smaller) are 1/4" drive, and the bigger 4 are 3/8" **Q: In the details, it says made in china. It also say made in United States. where are they made?** A: The set I have says made in China. It is a really good set in spite of that. **Q: Are these now made in China?** A: I've had a set for four yrs., which was made in the U.S., but more recent sets may be coming in from China. Lisle used to make everything here, but alas, things change.
