Good Espresso Coffee
Would give 5 stars if not for a couple of annoying issues. The good:Coffee taste and brewing strength across all four sample coffies very good. The capsules work in my older CITI machine. The machine has good wear and these work fine. The savings are another positive. Compared to Nespresso about 25 cents per capsule. The annoying:The insterting of the capsules requires a much harder lever pull. First few times one wonders if the machine will break. The reason, capsule design compared to Nespresso. The end needs to be pushed in as opposed to holes punchured. As noted above the machine will survive. Now the most annoying problem. All the capsules are exactly the same color and No identification as to what is in them. Ok if you keep the capsules in their boxes, recommended, but otherwise using a rack no way to tell what coffee inside. How does one tell a decaf from a dark outside the box, for example.Sum it up:A couple annoying problems, overall a good quality espresso priced very competitively. Recommended this product.

Good Overall
Excellent coffee! I'm a huge Pete's pods fan, but this tastes awesome if not better at times. My wife enjoys the decaf version. There aren't too many decaf pods that taste well, but Portland Roasting did something well with their decaf brew. Worth giving it a try! Pods worked great and don't jam! Thanks guys!

mediocre taste at best, has difficulty fitting into Nespresso machine
If I could give this product less than one star, I'd consider doing that. The taste of this "dark roast" is similar to the dregs from a second flush through a used capsule. Yes, that bad. Also, after trying half a dozen of these capsules, the fit in the Nespresso machine is very "tight" (you have to *really* push the lever down in order to close it). Will never get those again. And I tried to return them, but they have a no-return policy. I wonder why, ha!

First order fresh, second order 8 months old!
I searched high and low for an Organic coffee for my Nespresso machine and am overall happy with the variety box of Portland coffee; I like the different roasts and the decaf is the best I’ve tasted in a capsule. Unfortunately I just received an order that expires in December 2019, whereas in March I received an order that didn’t expire until 2020. I haven’t tasted it yet but I would expect that the standards for freshness from an independent roasting company would be better!

Great coffee, good prices, nice design
Excellent price, nice packaging design and fresher better roasted and more close to local coffee! Keep it confidential. Also, really nice customer service response. Definitely listening to feedback.

No harsh nespresso aftertaste
The decaf blend has as much body and brightness as can be hoped for in a decaf. I suspect the ground coffee may be fresher than some of the other brands I've tried. I'm done with Nespresso forever. No matter which N blend I try they all finish with the harshest burned aftertaste I've ever tasted in a coffee. Portland Roasting has eliminated that in these capsules; I will be enthusiastically trying all their blends.

Nespresso compatible
I thought the Coffee tasted great. I have used many Nespresso compatible pods and this one was by far up in the top 5. ☕️ I will definitely buy it again when it is on sale.

Tastes great
This stuff is awesome. Really is good and love the different levels of intensity. I use the decaf for espresso martinis 😉
