If it doesn't clip into the glass moulding as designed, the thing will look like a potato chip on your hood. Second, the 'system' to clip in is a TERRIBLE design, but that is BMW/Mini's fault. So this thing worked perfectly, but I had to be very careful to clip it into the lower glass moulding. The guy that did the windshield didn't bother... and then, I needed to put two self tapping screws through the plastic bottom edge of the cowel to hold this down.
