I love these...and I have the remote. All together I have 14...the only complaint was the first ones I bought (10) the batteries went dead ASAP within a few weeks. Not being used at all, thinking I bought them in a store in Mo. they must have been old. The batteries run about 7.95 each so not cheap to replace. But the best ones I have ever used

Thought these were supposed to be the BEST electric candles. NOT!!!! Only worked for a few days and then nothing. Don't bother buying you will be wasting your money.

Perhaps as a Dad to little kids, I've just gotten good at replacing the batteries in just about everything. I'm frankly shocked at the reviews criticizing the battery replacement process. First off, yes the battery is not one you likely have laying around. Amazon sells a dozen of these CR2450 batteries for $16. It's not free, but it's certainly not 8 bucks a battery like I saw someone post!Second, if you understand how the battery cover works, you'll have a much easier time with replacing the battery when it comes time. In every device with a battery, the battery is sandwiched between a contact and a spring. On something that uses a AA battery, the "flat" end (-) sits against the spring, and the "button" end (+) touches the contact. The same concept applies here, only in reverse. The negative side of the CR2450 battery rests against the contact in the candle, and the cap contains the spring that contacts the positive side, completing the circuit. The bottom line of this long-winded explanation is, THE CAP IS SPRING LOADED! You have to push down a little, while twisting with a coin (I used a plastic screwdriver) to remove the cover. Pushing down will relieve the pressure holding the cap in place, and it will twist very easily. If you just try to twist it without pushing down, I can see how you may strip it out.My wife loves these things, and I'm constantly fooled by them, thinking she left a real candle burning! Don't be scared to get these, convinced you can't replace the batteries. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT!!!

The candles do not go on for 5 hours and shut off. Sometimes when I turn them just 'on' they go out irregularly even though I want them to stay on, I have replaced all the batteries but they still don't work good. Sorry I spent over $100 for these.

battery don't last very long

Please don't waste you money. I would never purchase these candles again. I have changed the batteries at least four times which equals the number of times I have attempted to use them. Some would light up and some would not light up. I would change the batteries as required and the next time it would happen again After the fourth time I put them away. Being frustrated over brand new candles not lighting is not something you want to deal with while setting up for a dinner party. Lesson learned. Between the cost of the candles and the batteries, I could have purchased enough wax candles to last me for years.

Love these lights! They stop working with in few hrs only being on 2 hrs at a time one stop then one more then they all stop batteries were good
