They keep moisture away from the body and are lightweight yet warm. The 50 by 60-inch size is ideal as a throw blanket on the couch, in the car, motor home, sports game, or anywhere else you may need a lightweight blanket. Wash in luke warm water with other fleece items, not harsh surface items such as towels. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets when laundering, as this will diminish the water-repellant properties. Do not bleach or iron.
