Fermaid K (1 pound)

Unless you are after an "organic" yeast nutrient, this is the best product that I have found. It does give your fermentation a boost, but also has the longer lasting organic nutrients that make healthy yeast. I've used Fermaid "K" and "O", and find the "K" more predictable. I don't believe a home fermentation operation can find a better price. Be careful when you add it to an active fermentation - there will be some gassing.

Did an experiment with Organic Apple juice (for Hard Cider), and the one that got the Fermaid K it literally reduced the amount of fermentation time by at least 30%. It also help to unstuck the stalled out yeast and gave it boost of life in my kombucha 2nd fermentation as the nutrient becomes nutrient poor as the yeast goes through the sugar.
