So simple and versatile while remaining completely compact, used for cooking at the office would be great in a dorm also!

PROs: It's small and light weight, and stainless steel, just like I wanted. It also is lighting fast heat up.CONs: Liner doesn't come out for easier cleaning. You do have to worry about getting the plug and on/off switch wet. The 2 temperture adjustment control doesn't allow for enough lowering of the temperature. At low setting it still boils, just more slowly. Also, the stainless steel quality is questionable.So far I've made applesauce, hot cereals, and I have warmed soups, stews, milk and water. All came out fine, but you do have to stay right by it and watch that it doesn't run out of liquid. Would I buy it again? Not if there were another option on the market with all the above flaws removed. I also wish there was an equivalent 6" to 7" electric skillet on the market. Would really help with small cooking needs for one person.

Too bad. The pot can't even boiling. I wait for an hour with boiled water. I already put hot water in the pot to make my noodles but it's not boiling.

there are greenish grey spots on the bottom. I'm assuming they are not moles since they won't come off after scrubbing. Had hotpot anyways. Fingers crossed I don't get food poisoning. Also black water ran down the rim when I cleaned it. Not sure what it was.

Just okay to a little bit slow than my last one

I like this pot but I wish it had a pour spout. I use it to heat up soup in the morning for my thermos. I have to spoon out the soup rather than pour it into the thermos or the noodles or vegetables spill all over the counter.

what an awesome little pot! vegetables come out great, great for hard boiled eggs too
