Pretty good
I really needed this holder for my iPhone. I spend a lot of time pushing a stroller around town and this seemed like a great idea. And it is! It isn't the most elegant devise. When I first saw it I thought it looked exactly like a 12th grade shop project if shop had access to molded plastic. I spent 10 minutes figure out how to attached the velcro strap to my BOB stroller handle. Later I found the waxy insert that gave some tips. Oh well. My BOB has a rubbery handle, and this should stick pretty well, but it doesn't. It slides around, so each day I have to give it a good tug to get it secured back into place. That said, I just love being able to see the phone. I can use the Nike app to track my walks and runs, and hear the feedback, and even the music, which was impossible when the phone was just tucked into the sun cover. I recommend this product and give it 5-stars for a good idea, and a high five to the mom who figured out how to get it manufactured and on the market. I just give the bulky, heavy, awkward plastic design one star, averaging 3 stars.

There is something better...
I purchased this for my BOB stroller. It looked like a great gadget to attach to the handlebar so that I could have access to the phone, music, etc. when out and about with my daughter. When it arrived I immediately wanted to try this out, and found it to be more of a pain to deal with. It is rather large, and it gets in the way on the handle bar. I found the only way to use this on the stroller was to lay it flat or parallel to the ground. And even then my Iphone giggled around, which then made me worried it would fall out. Anyways I am returning the item and getting something that better suits my needs.

o.k. but there are similar, less-expensive products out there.
This phone holder works as indicated, but it is completely overpriced. There are similar products out there for a lot less.

perfect gift for my wife
I purchased this as a gift for my wife who was always complaining her blackberry falls out of, or gets scratched by the stroller cupholder. Since I've purchased the texthook, my wife never misses my callsShe said the texthook also works real well with her bluetooth since now she knows who is calling her immediately and doesn't have to find the phone in order to click answer - or even worse answer without called idShe has also used the texthook in the gym. She used to complain that she had no pockets or place for her phone at the gym. She says how easy the texthook's velcro strap is to attach to the handlebar whether she is using the treadmill, elliptical or stationary bike. Her blackberrry fits perfectly in it. It was a huge bonus that it came assembled.I too have tried out the texthook with my iphone and am extremely impressed by the utility of this product.

Great product, but even better customer service.
I was very excited to start using my texthook, which makes talking much safer when I am pushing my 2 kids in my stroller. I did initially however have a problem with my texthook, but was very pleasantly surprised to receive an email directly from the founder of the company apologizing for the problem and offering to compensate me for the inconvenience caused by the problem ... I have never had such great customer service. Only thing to be aware of is that for some phones, the phone may not fit in the case if the headphone jack is at the top or the bottom of the phone. I have had to make a little (but easy) modification to my texthook to use it with my iphone with headphones plugged in.

Works horribly with iPhone, there's a much better option...
We were given a TextHook by a friend who recently got it for their baby. According to them it wouldn't fit either of their smartphones while they were in their cases. I don't currently use a case so they asked if I'd like to try it. I thought it would be great for our baby's stroller so I could walk her around and have quick and easy access to my phone. When I opened it, it felt very boxy and clunky but I figured it's not a big deal as long as it gets the job done. Well, for me and my iPhone 4S, it decidedly does not get the job done.Firstly, when you place it in without any case on the iPhone, it sits very deeply recessed. I assume they gave extra space front to back for thicker phones or phones with cases. They even mention in the instructions that you can add some foam if it's not fitting in well. But like I said, my friends complained neither of their phones fit with the cases on (I'm assuming side to side as the top slides very far up and down). Secondly, while it does rotate 180 degrees, that is only side to side rotation while remaining only vertical, which is almost entirely pointless. But the real deal-killer is the top piece that slides up or down to apply pressure and hold the phone in place. When you slide the top down far enough to hold the iPhone firmly in place, it ends up sitting on and pushing down on the power switch that is on every iPhone in the same top right spot. Immediately my phone was asking to "slide to power off". Swiping the phone on beforehand then moving the top down in place would put the phone to sleep. Loosening it enough to not hit the power button then felt like the phone was sitting too loosely. Additionally the top piece that holds the phone down is so large it fully covers the already mentoned power button, but also covers the earphone jack completely as well, making using earbuds of any kind not possible (not so handy when you want to play music but baby is asleep!) This really makes the uses of this holster limited to speakerphone and texting/emailing only.Instead we're going with the Brica Phone Pod, Gray which is lierally half the price and holds the phone securely from the sides with two panels that squeeze in against each side of the phone(where there are no buttons). This allows free access to the power button and headphone jack on top. It's also a lot more sleek and not nearly as boxy and clunky, and it can swivel between portrait and landscape orientations, which is great for attaching to your child's seat bar so they can watch a movie. And it's a little thing but I like that the attachment point to the stroller is in the middle of this holster making it very unobtrusive, unlike the TextHook which is at the very bottom, making it stick way up off the handlebars.
