Obtainium Wallet

The wallet is a cool concept, it's comfortable in your pocket and it does work well compared to a money clip. Where this wallet shines is it's ability to hold the cards from falling everywhere while being as comfy as a money clip. However don't kid yourself this wallet does NOT hold cards as well as a normal leather wallet. Despite what the ads claim if you drop it your cards will very likely go everywhere unless your O-rings are literally brand new. Speaking of o-rings, they break, I'd buy a bag of em from the MFGs site. I've had bad luck with them failing while I'm out of town and I try hard to be careful with how I insert cards to not manhandle it. Also this wallet can't really hold 10 cards. Forget about anything more than 8 cards and that's it. Maybe it's just my particular credit cards, but it seems unless your cards are as thin as business cards there's just no way to fit more than 4 per side. These aren't really deal killers, however I think the wallet isn't providing enough value. I don't regret buying it, but I would not buy another one. The fit and finish just isn't there and it's not completely thought through. It should be priced around $60-70.

I bought this after years of being disappointed by various leather wallets. They either became too tight as they inevitably got loaded up, and had to wrestle with them to get a card out at a register, or the liners and leathers separated and became a mess to use.This wallet is everything it claims to be: strong sturdy, lightweight, easy to fill, easy to select and remove a card. I suspect the hinge will outlast me. It's a credit to the manufacturer that they give you spare rubber o-rings for the one point of potential failure. I really have nothing negative to say about it. It's just...every time I look at that price I think I must be nuts. Nevertheless, I'm keeping it.

Absolutely love this product. The design slips easily into the pocket and it holds all the cards and money I usually carry. Seems to be well engineered and the hinge has the perfect amount of tension. Hopefully this is the last wallet I purchase.

I am using the wallet for cards only; 4 cards per side. I am having continual problem with the rubber band coming off the side that houses my credit/debit cards.When I ordered the wallet, I purchased spare rubber bands and retainers. I have changed out both the rubber band and retainers several times, but the problem continues. As much as this product cots, I would expect it to perform perfectly, period. As far as I am concerned I am using the wallet as intended, so this gets 1 star.

It's an "ok" wallet. Nothing special about it. One of the bands was broken when it showed up and I mentioned it but got nothing in return (as in, no replacement). Honestly, I don't even use this anymore. I'm back to Ogon wallets. 1/3 the price and just as cool.

This was a random drunkin purchase made by myself. Although I contenplated returning it, it's actually quite nice.

The quality of the materials is excellent, as is the mechanical operation of the hinge and internal straps. This is a pricey item, but you get what you pay for.

I might pay $20.00 as a novelty item.
