Ok, I don’t know WHAT product some of the other reviews are about, but they must have a very different version than what I got. The setup is easy, take out plug it in.The buttons one top of the unit work ok, but the buttons on the front are absolute garbage. Unresponsive, only work some of the time, took 15 minutes to set the clock and the alarm. Setting the brightness of the light requires the front buttons again... slow, unresponsive, nearly unusable.Setting the alarm sound (7 options) worked ok, the VOLUME on the alarm goes from 1-10, but “1” is enough to wake the dead... ridiculously loud.Also, any review that says there is more than one alarm is flat out wrong, alarm off/alarm on, that’s it.I am using this to help my three year old son who can’t tell time yet to know when it’s “morning time”... shorter days make it hard to explain that “morning” doesnt mean “sunny”... I have turned off the audible alarm, and am only using the light portion. For that, it works, (as long as I don’t have to adjust it very often) so I am not returning it. If this was for me I would toss this thing in the trash. Save your money.

Works well though there have been occasional mornings when it does not light up, for no apparent reason. Also, there isn't an option to program it to have a different weekend alarm (or just turn off on weekends). While the description does not claim this, many of the reviews state that this option exists, and those reviews led me to buy this model over others.Nonetheless, my 6 year old daughter likes it a lot. She needs to be up by 6:45, so we set it for 6:50 - the light starts at 6:20 and she'll usually wake up sometime between then and 6:45. Much more pleasant for everyone than a noisy alarm.

Super helpful. I just hate that I can't figure out how to turn off the sound option, so anytime it gets unplugged and I have to set it up again, I have to remember to turn to volume all the way down. Also, wish I could have two settings to toggle back and forth between for workdays and non-work days. But overall, this is saving my life this winter. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder and this really helps ease my waking and get me going at 5:30 or 6 am (depending on work schedule).

It’s a round clock and seems to keep good time. That’s it! It’s nothing like I thought it’d be from the reviews. It hasn’t awakened me once with the sunrise mode. I think it’s appropriate if you’re decorating a young girls room as she can change the color options if she chooses, which I don’t think I’ll ever use, since I just wanted it for the illusion of a real sunrise or sunset. Also the sounds are not realistic and are more of a loop repeating over and over.

Purchased this back in August 2018 and today it’s mid February 2019 and my daughter just over slept for school because the clock decided to turn off. If you press any button, the time will show for about two seconds but the alarm doesn’t work and the time does not show. I tried unplugging for a few seconds to “reset” but still the same problem. Disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for.

I only wish the number where bigger. but the overal design and concept is great. Also wish there was a usb plug outlet so i could charge cell phone... Still great delivers what I bought it for

My 11 year old used this as her first alarm. It’s a great way to wake up naturally. Loud alarms do not make kids excited to go to school

I love this alarm! I’ve had a horrible time trying to get up in the morning. This alarm slows wakes you with the slow light. I have been able to get up a lot easier. Only thing I not keen on is the setup could have been easier, to many buttons for an alarm clock.
