Useful, but also not so useful.
So I bought these for my longer quilting rulers thinking it would stop them moving around while cutting (I use a dumbbell otherwise), and they do stick. But that is also rather annoying when I want to move the ruler by ⅛" or ¼" to line up the cutting edge exactly... the ruler sticks to the fabric and doesn't slide... so from that perspective, I removed the little sticky things (with some difficulty, I might add as the residue is quite tenacious and I didn't want to use nail polish remover for fear it would remove the measurements on the ruler). So, I am not using these. But they stick well, which is what they are supposed to do, I just found the unwanted side-effects were bigger than the win.

Served the purpose
Raised my ruler off the paper just enough. Kept ruler from slipping. Will try it on my cutting mat straight edge with fabric.

Hold great but would prefer clear.
They grip wonderfully and aren't too cloudy to see through but next time I'll purchase clear.

Great For Magnet Backings
The spice tins that I keep on the side of my fridge, using magnets were constantly sliding down, even using strong neodymium magnets, so I started looking for something grippy but very thin to put on the magnets to prevent that. These were the right shape and size for my purposes, so I gave them a shot, even though this isn't what they're intended for. They're very grippy, and thin enough that they don't cause the magnets to lose any strength, but best of all they work perfectly for this purpose. My spice tins now stay where I put them, problem solved.Plus, being silicone, I believe they shouldn't be difficult to clean, should I get any food on them. Even if they are, the set has so many of them, that if they do start to deteriorate, I have plenty of backups to replace them as needed. The only negative I encountered was that with a few of the discs, the backing sheet split and the top, waxy layer came off, still attached to the dot. It was difficult to remove after it split, but luckily it only happened with 2 of the 30 or so I peeled, so it wasn't really a big deal, just a little annoying.

Adhesive is good.
Like the fact that it thin and the adhesive is good.

Way more for way less money
One of my absolute pet peeves about expensive quilting rulers that they lack "grips" with the exception of Creative Grid rulers. This necessitates spending even more money buying variety of grips. My favorite are the silicone circles but they are almost $9.00 for about 15 circles. This product is EXACTLY the same as that name brand product but is about half as pricey for about 4 times as many. What is not to appreciate?

Holds rulers steady
These no-slip dots are easy to apply and work well. I'm new to quilting and couldn't hold the rulers in place well when using the rotary cutter. Just a slight slip can cause a problem when you put the pieces together. These dots hold the ruler steady on the cutting board which is very important to me. I have joint issues that makes pressing down hard on the ruler difficult and painful. A small investment for big returns.
