gorgeous wood panelling, softens sound
Gorgeous wood and provides some sound insulation. Not a ton, but it definitely dampens sound. Easy to install and I think it's worth the cost if you have the budget for a classy looking recording studio. I wouldn't be able to afford to panel a room with these, but getting these as soundproofing accents, worked for me. I personally didn't cut these, but they seem fairly easy to cut, being somewhat bendable.

Wood Slat Panels That Elevate Walls & Dampen Noise; Warm Look, Worth the Prep
These MSXTE wood slat wall panels are a great way to give a room personality and help soften the echo. The natural oak veneer slats look clean and modern, and the size (94.5″ long × 11.02″ wide) means you cover a good stretch of wall with just two panels, which cuts down on seams. They do absorb sound surprisingly well, especially in the mid-to-high frequencies, so rooms feel quieter and more comfortable. Installation is simple if you have basic tools like screws or nails, plus optional adhesive; the felt backing helps with damping and gives a little cushion between the wood and the wall. What to watch out for / Downsides: Because these panels are long and made from solid wood veneer, handling and mounting take care. If one slat is misaligned or if the surface isn’t perfectly flat, the gaps are noticeable. The veneer is attractive but a bit delicate; it scratches more easily than solid wood or thick panels, and if exposed to moisture it can warp or discolor over time. Also, the felt backing sometimes doesn’t align perfectly, which can create a slight ripple or unevenness when the panels are placed next to each other. If you care about perfection you’ll likely spend extra time matching joints and trimming edges. And finally, covering a full wall with these panels can get pricey. One pack looks great, but going floor-to-ceiling or for large walls requires more investment. Bottom line: If you want a stylish way to add warmth, texture, and noise control to a room, these wood slat panels deliver. They’re especially great for feature walls, studios, or living rooms. Just measure right, mount carefully, and expect a bit of trim & touch-ups for a clean finish.

Look classy, and make it quieter. What more do you want?
MSXTE 2-Pack Triangular Acoustic Wood Slat Wall Panels: these look exactly as pictured, really nice and classy. They do a great job absorbing ambient noise. We really like that the wood is triangular, which looks "architectural" (the best word I could come up with). They came securely packed in a giant cardboard box, and arrived in perfect condition.

Too expensive for very little sq ft per box.
Extremely expensive, unfortunately. They are super pretty, but for two pieces to be almost 100 dollars is crazy. They aren't long enough to cover even one section. So no matter how neat they look, the cost of these outweighs any pros, unfortunately. I wanted to cover that small wall by my cat's litter box, then upgrade the area his box sits on so it looks like his own little trendy apartment. However, two pieces aren't enough, and the amount of square footage the smallest box carries just doesn't make this a DIY to continue. Didn't notice any noise reduction. However, I'm sure for that to work, you need more than two pieces. The light wood look is beautiful. Easy to install and different options. I didnt want to ruin my houses walls by using the glue. I simply nailed them in where needed. then used wool filler to fill any holes and evidence of installing it. Screws are also an option. I saw too many videos that it rips the sheet rock horribly if using glue to install as well as the nails.

Interesting
These are interesting. The have a felt like back with wood attached. It would be easy to install if you walls were normal sized but you will probably have to cut them down. The size is pretty good and the over all quality is nice.

surprisingly flexible
when i received this 2 pack of wood veneer acoustic paneling, i was quite a bit surprised upon unpackaging because like gumby, and unlike any other acoustic panels of the sort, they bend. why, might you ask? well, the felt backing is not rigid. the "wood" is, if you look at the fine print of the description, a combo of wood veneer, high-density polyester, and high-density MDF. seems pretty bendy to me. do they look nice? yeah. are they very tall? yeah. will they be a start on finishing your whole wall/room to complete the job? yeah. are they cheap? definitely not. one way to start the job, i'd have to say. as long as you don't mind the bendy bit -- which i imagine, reduces the price a smidgen, but not too too much.

Stylish Panels - Acoustic Improvement
These 2-piece triangular slat wood panels in natural oak are a stylish and functional upgrade for my home office. The solid wood veneer has a warm, modern finish that adds depth and texture to walls, making spaces feel more refined. I installed them vertically in my home office, and they instantly elevated the look while noticeably reducing echo and ambient noise. The acoustic improvement is subtle but effective—ideal for work-from-home setups. Installation is straightforward, though aligning the panels precisely takes care. Each piece is well-crafted and lightweight, though narrow, so larger walls may require multiple sets. These panels offer excellent value for both aesthetic enhancement and sound control.

Aesthetically pleasing - nice quality
These stylish sound dampening wall panels are pretty nice and well made. Each panel is tall and somewhat flexible so before securing to my walls, there was a slight bowing to the panels. At first I was a little concerned, but I now know that the minimal flexibility is a good thing because it allows for form fitting against my slightly imperfect plaster walls. Once installed, I was amazed by the fast transformation of the room. I didn’t receive any installation instructions, so I decided to buy some black nails that blends in nicely with the black sound dampening material. It was simple to install and the panels add a lot of character to the room. Thankfully, I didn’t need to cut the panels before installing, so I cannot provide any feedback about the ease of cutting. I am pleased with the appearance of the panels. The panels do cut down on ambient noise; however, they are not intended to completely soundproof a room. I would recommend these panels to others.
