It looks great on our bed and covers the sheets and pillows against dust. It's also an ideal weight for these moderately cool spring nights here in Texas. The laundering instructions that came with this said that the first time it is washed, it should be washed by itself in cold water. Pay attention to that! The first time I washed it in cold water, a lot of the ink or dye or whatever was leached out into the water. It didn't muddy the colors of the bedspread but if I had washed it with something else, the something else could have been ruined. The second time I washed it, I used warm water and washed it with a set of sheets that are pretty old and worn. I'm happy to see that there was no transfer of color from the bedspread to the sheets. So, the first washing seems to have taken care of that issue. Review: Beautiful - The colors are amazing. This is so pretty but it’s more like a linen cloth. It did not fit a bed.
