Very prolific SCOBY. Great Kombucha!
Arrived quickly. Easy instructions included. This SCOBY is very prolific. It has already had many offspring. I now use a 1 gallon jug for continuous production of Kombucha. Once fermented it is then bottled off with 10% fruit nectar for a second fermentation. The result is better than what one can buy in the whole foods market and only cost pennies to produce.

Better off making your own
The same day I purchased this scoby I also decided to make one from scratch. The batch I made using this scoby tasted a bit rancid but the one I made using store bought kombucha had a crisp fuzzy taste. I ended up tossing this one out and have been making really good and bubbly kombucha using the one I started from scratch. I now have two 2gallon containers with huge and strong scoby. My batches are ready in as little as 4 days, I can't keep up so I'll be making one jar at a time and keep the other as a scoby hotel.

Excellent scoby!
The scoby arrived and was really professionally packaged. The scoby looks to be in excellent condition and is pretty thick (about as thick as my index finger from top to bottom). There was plenty of kombucha starter fluid to get me on my way to some great kombucha, I can't wait!

Reliable product.
Pleased with this Kombucha sponge. I have two brewing stations operating now at home. I like about a 7-10 day batch. Nice fizz.

Good for the price
Packaged very well. Got it placed in some sweat tea and it's making anther scoby after just 2 days. Came with 1/2 cup of strong starter tea.

Taste tea wonderful
I was first time to buy the tea recommended by my friend. I followed the instruction to make the tea, and it tasted quite different, but it was wonderful.
