Protects the Chrono from debris, powder burns etc. NOT from bullet strikes
Item works as described. Simple Lexan shield for the front of a Pro Chrono , $15.00 seems a bit high but its drilled for the Prochrono.

Chrono getting power burns
Is your chrono getting powder burns? Well, here is your answer. Mine suffered a few powder burns, from being too close, but nothing that interfered with the operation of my chrono. With this my chrono is protected and now more powder burns.

Fits well
This cover works and fits well but is a little high priced for what it is.

Love it, works GREAT when plexiglass added
Love it, works well, protects well, I glued a 2" thick small sheet of plexiglass on the front of it, I shoot 1200 FPS airguns, this works much better than anything else, that is if you attach plexiglass to it as I did. As is, without the plexiglass It should still work once to protect your chrono, it will not take more than one or two shots.

Paided for itself the first day
This shield protected my chronometer the first day when it stopped a wad from my 12 gauge shotgun. The wad left a good mark on the shield and I wonder what it would have done to the chronometer.

Good to have
Good to have, helps keeps dirt and dust out of the sensors. Can offer some protection to the front control panel from light flying objects. Like a wad if shooting black powder and maybe even a plastic sabot. Cant hurt to have.

Does it's job
It works exactly as advertised. The only "con" is that you have to reach behind the face to reset things, but that's not a huge secret if you you look at it's picture. So far it has saved my chronograph from at least two "gas check" hits.
