SHIMANOPD GR500 Pedal MTB/BMX, Unisex, PD-GR500

For my feet they were too big and i have returned them. But they were cool and sturdy pedals. The downside i think is they re a bit too heavy at half a kilo the pair. If they would be made from a lighter material and also come in sizes they would be great.

I found myself getting tired easily and my pedals were shot after six months of use. Fitted these pedal and heaven. your foot sits evenly on the pedal, and my lite walking shoes now work well on these pedals when they slipped off the previous pedals.If you are serious about cycling, it is not worth buying cheap pedals.

Great pedals. Expensive but worth it. Adjusting/fitting the grip bolts was time consuming, but not a hardship. I got these on a warehouse deal, no imperfections. Saved £15.

Wide enough for me and very grippy. They have improved my confidence on tight technical descents.

I did not expect a heavy product like this to have poor sealing. After one ride, there is grease, a lot grease coming out from the spindle surrounding area. Collected a lot of mud, dirty and all mussed up with the grease become gunk. TBH, some 20 quid Chinese pedals looks half as strong as these didn't leak once after months use on my commuter.Well, the plus side is you do get a bigger platform, and this is the reason I bought these in the first place. The width is wider and the spindle is a bit longer than normal pedals, side edge to crank is full 12cm. Give some idea, DMR pedals from edge to crank is only 10cm. 2 extra cm makes a huge difference for me as I like to rest my foot a bit far away from the crank.Shame the product didn't show promising quality, it's still spinning pretty smooth with the leak, but I only rode with these for about 20km. I hope the leak is just excess grease got squeezed out. I "hope". :/
