## Overview

The Schiit Magni Unity is a desktop headphone amplifier and preamp featuring a new high-precision current-feedback design that delivers 2.5W output with 3 gain levels, including negative gain for IEMs. It offers modularity with an optional internal DAC, advanced overcurrent and DC protection, and a 3-year warranty. Designed and built in Texas, USA, it supports 115VAC power for North American use.

## Description

Insane sound and performance for all headphones. Modular, non-obsolescent design. 100% linear power supply. 50% longer warranty. No off-the-shelf amp chips. Meet the all-new Magni Unity, the only affordable, fully discrete headphone amp and preamp on the planet—and you can add an internal Unison USB(TM) DAC later if you'd like.Total Confidence for All HeadphonesNo matter what headphones you have, you’re set with Magni Unity. It’s dead-silent with the most sensitive IEMs, and has tons of power for power-hungry planars. And don’t worry about your favorite cans—Magni Unity’s overcurrent and DC correction systems help ensure they’re totally safe. One Box for Your Entire DesktopMagni Unity is a one-box system for your entire desktop. Connect the preamp outputs to powered monitors (or a mini speaker amp) and you’re set for both headphone and speaker listening.New Tech—Proven by ListeningMagni Unity debuts our new super-linear, high-precision current-feedback discrete topology—an exotic, bespoke amplifier stage unlike anything available from the competition. Coupled with the best parts, from a custom, sorted potentiometer to silicon and film capacitors and 0.5% thin-film resistors, Magni Unity delivers better sound, as confirmed by our blind listening panels.Designed by Listening We regularly do blind listening panels, both internally and externally, and they have consistently chosen low-feedback, current-feedback products, including Magni Unity, over integrated and voltage feedback designs.Designed and Built in TexasBy "designed and built in Texas" this is what we mean: the vast majority of the total production cost of Magni—chassis, boards, assembly, etc—goes to US companies manufacturing in the US. In the case of Magni, it all comes together at our Corpus Christi, TX facility.

Review: Exceptional audio quality - Well, done, Schiit! This is my first time purchasing your products-though I had previously heard them at CanJam-and immediately upon connecting the unit, I could tell quality was exceptional. What I appreciate most is that tour amplifier doesn't strip away the tube character of the signal coming from my tube preamp, instead it simply cleans it up and amplifies it. With the amp, the distinct 'tube sound" becomes even more audible. Bravo!
Review: Good - It can drive a set of DT990 really well but it flattens out the sound stage a bit. Really shines with something like the Audiotechnica ATH-AD series or anything that is super open back. For a desktop amplifier however it's awesome.

## Features

- Desktop-friendly Magni Unity debuts our new, super-linear, high-precision current-feedback topology that increases performance by 10dB relative to previous discrete Magnis. Aaand it’s the first modular Magni ever, with the option to add an internal DAC later if you'd like.
- With 2.5W on tap from a standard single-ended output jack, plus three gain levels, including negative gain for IEMs, Magni Unity is set for pretty much every headphone out there.
- Overcurrent and DC correction systems—both, by the way, 100% transparent and out of the signal path—mean your most treasured headphones have the highest level of protection.
- Longer warranty: 3 years, not 1 or 2. We’ve been in business more than 13 years, we’ve built well over 1 million products, and we stand behind what we make.
- Designed and built in TX, USA. 115VAC only. USA Plug. Suitable for use in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Will not work in 220 – 240V countries.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good

### ⭐⭐ This doesn't drive high end headphones like advertised.
*by J***R on 16 September 2025*

Claims to be able to drive any headphone. I should not have to turn the volume knob 80% to get any sort of decent volume out of this. This product functions exactly the same as the Behringer HA400 for 6x less of a price point for my use case...
