Just like top rated for better price
My prior vehicle had a dash cam by a major manufacturer known for their cell phone chargers and battery packs. I wanted something similar, and the DuDuBell does it. Things the DDB does just like the BigName: easy installation, high quality images, good night vision, adjustable sensitivity, locks trauma, overwrites useless recordings, auto on and off, built in battery, senses trauma when parked, easily manually locks recordings. Things DDB does better: pricing, 2k video, night vision. Flaws, but not deal breakers: power cable attached to cigarette lighter, can't be detached or swapped for another cord. Power cable cigarette lighter takes up a power outlet port, with no additional USB connectivity to charge my phone. No app or wifi for phone transfers. Have to remove SD card, or use a different wire to attach to phone or laptop. Only 32gb supported (same as other big name brands). At this price-point, it's a great value.

price, easy installation and the way it looks are good.
1. mic sound not clear. sounds like it were muffled.2. highway and city signs are clearly visible during daytime. nighttime's okay.3. license plates are clearly visible at under 4 feet range of the front vehicle if it is not moving and it's not real sunny.4. direct sunlight's not it's best friend.5. impossible to make out license plates looking straight ahead while daytime driving but are clearly visible while passing on either side at 3 feet.6. at night it's so-so. license plates aren't visible at any range or angle if driving. at a standstill, license plates are visible under 4ft range.7. the above actions were after transferring the pictures and videos from sd card onto computer for viewing and enlarging. couldn't see well the license plates replaying videos on the actual dash-cam.wish it had touchscreen, night-vision, better focus to see license plates, larger sd capacity and longer battery life. why I'd like for longer battery life is for taking it out of vehicle and recording or taking pictures of the accident/incident. also have the power plug under not above the dash-cam.p.s. i haven't used the motion detection or parking monitor so won't comment on it.for the price and all, I'd say definite buy if on a budget.

Good product, good price
This is an amazing product for the price. I have included a picture of my living room as an example of night vision. This is easy to install, turns on when vehicle turns on, turns off shortly after vehicle turns off. Remember to order SD card for recording. The screen and camera will pick up and show license plate numbers and features of other driver. I have ordered another for my father.

Good quality for the price, I'd recommend it for an "entry level" dash cam
This isn't gonna be crystal clear video, I tested it on the highway and a lot of license plates were not readable. In slow traffic you can probably read plates and they are definitely clear at a stop. For the price though I'm very pleased, for $35 why not? It has the best reviews (of a large sample size) I've seen for a camera in this price range on Amazon so I felt pretty safe trying it out. If I get into a wreck and can prove it was not my fault (or help out someone in a wreck I witnessed) this will be the best $35 I've ever spent! One note: Be careful installing the suction cup mount, I was an idiot and pressed the wrong way and cracked/snapped it off. I managed to put it back together and install it with pliers and now that it's up it's fine but I felt pretty dumb hah. Not a fault of the manufacturer at all, I was just not paying attention. Also, their website seems nonexistent so don't expect firmware updates or anything I guess. Doesn't really matter though as it seems to work just fine as it is. However, I had a question and emailed their contact email and I received a reply super quick and they were helpful so that's cool. I just wish they had an actual company website with support/updates, not a dealbreaker though at this pricepoint. If I get a year out of this thing I'll be happy and then just buy something new, if it lasts even longer I'll be even happier! As I said at this price point I'm not expecting insane quality but so far I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. If I paid $100 for this I would give it a lower rating, but for $35 I'll definitely give it 5 stars. If I encounter any issues I'll update my review but so far I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a dashcam on a budget. If you can afford a nicer one go for it but ANY camera that functions is better than no camera at all so if money is tight just go ahead and buy this and call it a day!

Powerful, compact and ready to go!
I've had several dash cams over the past few years, all used to varying degrees of success. When I saw the specifications on this one, I liked the dimensions because I travel a lot for work, and use dash cams in various vehicles. With this cam being smaller and more compact than several of the other models I've used, it fits easily in my backpack, and with the included suction cup I can switch it between vehicles very easily! The image quality is great, and the ability to connect it to a computer via USB for instant viewing is awesome. I can not only record incidents, but it gives me a great way to document the beautiful countryside I drive through as well! Having the piece of mind that I have documentation should anything happen lets me hit the road with confidence day or night :) I definitely recommend this unit to anyone, whether you're traveling like me or just driving locally around your town. GREAT bang for your buck!
