This is a real wallet ouch, but it’s worth every penny! My dog had persistent diarrhea after a necessary course of antibiotics to treat a huge hotspot covering his entire lower back. The vet’s probiotic just didn’t cut it. If you compare the flora, the vet’s prescription stuff only has 1 to 3 strains of bacteria derived from milk. This stuff from Vitality Science has 29 strains derived from soil - where wild canids naturally get their probiotics. My boy is 82 pounds, so I gave him 4 capsules for 2 weeks, 3 for 10 days, 2 for 10 days, then finished off the bottle with 1 capsule a day and the results were immediate. His stools were firm by the 2nd day and have remained firm after stopping. I just dropped the capsules into his bowl of kibble; I didn’t break them open. He just ate them up with the kibble. Worth every penny.

We could only give our dog these probiotics for 3 days. Each time we tried lowering the dosage, but our poor dog had horrible explosive diarrhea from this stuff. I’m talking almost having an accident in the house, run for your life, fire hydrant rear-end explosion diarrhea. He went back to normal after we stopped giving this to him. I’m not saying it doesn’t work, clearly other people have reviewed this product and it works for their dog. Unfortunately our experience was definitely not pleasant. Won’t be giving this to any of our dogs again.2 stars for the product being received when they said it would.

I have an IBD cat and I have tried many similar products. Often, they don't seem to do much. I do think he has received some benefit from this product. He is throwing up less. His poop is not quite as smelly either. Obviously we love our pets so we keep trying to find something that will help. This helped some.

This was great as an additive for the dog as long as it was given in capsule form. She could taste it when it was sprinkled. I noticed the same thing with the cats, which was more of an issue as they had to have the capsule split up into smaller amounts. They routinely turned their nose up at their food because they didnt like the taste. So if you have a dog and can give a full capsule its a great product. Its not as great if its for a cat who will need to pill split up. Finally, be ready for the color as its midnight black. Good stuff overall and I will keep buying it. Finally, I want to comment on the folks at Vitality for their wonderful customer service. They were extremely helpful and went over this product and compared it to two others for me. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I really like this product. I only gave it four stars because it is expensive and it can be a little harsh. It is better to ease your cat or dog into this or they will throw up or get diarrhea. I also use it myself after taking antibiotics or when I feel irregular. I also like the Luxolite Clay from Vitality Science and I give it to my CRF hyperthyroid cat along with Tripsy, Resthyro and Milk Thistle from NHV. I also give him Biopreparation and even though it is controversial I give him Renavast. This combination of products plus a change to better quality wet food has make a huge difference in his health. It was touch and go for a few months and I was sure I was going to lose him but with this combo of products he is doing a whole lot better and I hope to have him with me a long time.

My dog has IBD and we have tried many different probiotics for her. None have helped. After researching the benefits of soil-based probiotics for her condition, we decided to try these. I was hesitant because they are expensive, but they are working well so far! Not causing any issues and poop looks great. Highly recommend and will re-order when these run out.

Got this for our 15 year old dog who started skin and ear infections that wouldnt seem to clear up. We had tried other probiotics with no results. This seemed to help with the infections and, as a plus, she stopped eating dirt!

Best product I’ve ever used. ALL cats should take this as it really improves their digestion. Even young cats should be on it. Don’t wait until your cat shows signs of problems, give it to them when they are young to keep them healthy.
