We started adding this fish oil to our dogs' food when they began having some redness and dry patches on their bellies. Both of our dogs are lab mixes, inside dogs, fed quality gluten free foods and they aren't exposed to any toxic substances like commercial cleaners, fertilizers or insecticides so we aren't sure what the cause was, however, since adding this fish oil to their diets, they are both now healed. They both have softer, shinier coats as well. I am pleased with this oil enough that I've added it to my Subscribe and Save. Easy to dispense, hardly any smell at all, dogs love it and they have beautiful, healthy skin and coats now....what's not to love??

Oh my gosh. I cannot believe that the label says it does not smell. It DEFINITELY has a VERY strong, sickening fish smell. And if you have a dog with hair (as most dogs are :)) then your dog will smell like fish (bc it gets in the facial hair) AND get that fish oil smell everywhere - i.e., on the couch, on you, on your clothes, in the car, etc, etc, etc!! I stopped using it months ago and can still smell it in my car carpet and certain clothes and other places. Wow - definitely not worth it. There are other supplements and ways to get these nutrients to a dog without coating everything in nasty, strong, lingering, putrid fish oil!! :) If you can't tell, I don't like rancid fish oil smell all over everything I own. . . .

I was worried being a liquid additive that my dog wouldn’t eat her food after I added it but she didn’t have any problems with it. In fact the dog that wasn’t getting it liked her food better so I started adding it to his too. My female dog had skin issues and it did help but I also changed her diet as well so I can’t say if it was one or the other or a combination of both that helped. It didn’t hurt and they like it. I like that I don’t have to use a measuring spoon and only have to squirt it in their food. The directions give an estimated amount of what each squirt holds so that’s what I use to determine how much I need to squirt by. Bottle arrived on time and enclosed in a sealed plastic bag. I am on my second bottle and will order more when needed.

This product was specifically recommended by our Vet to help our spaniel with arthritis in her back. Two months ago she could no longer jump onto our laps, or jump down, or handle more than one step. She no longer enjoyed our walks. We were carrying her a lot. This week she seems to be free of pain, and does jump onto our Laps, and just in general has returned to her sweet, cuddly self. We will give this to her daily for the rest of her life.

I'm asked for a review, but can't yet give a comprehensive answer. My vet prescribed an Omegas 3 supplement in capsule form. I am happy to find this liquid formula which has the same ingredients in the same percentages as my vet product. I'm on a tight budget so I'm also happy this form is significantly less $$$. Currently working my way through the capsules. Look forward to the ease of using a pump. Will be back to share my dog's opinion in September.

So far the product is helping my allergy prone corgi even a little more than Nordic Naturals. I give some to our Belgian Malinois just to prevent any joint inflammation as he is a very active boy. I like that it’s not just a salmon oil, but wild arctic fish. I’m not sure I like the pump for me, as it’s hard to tell how far down to push the pump for a small dose, but if your dog needs a full pump, it’s very easy to use. My dogs eat it on top of their food just fine. I left a star off for smaller dose discrepancy using a pump.

This product contains the exact same ingredients as the way over priced stuff that my Vet wanted to sell me for my dog that was having issues with really bad dry flaky skin. I started giving her this supplement and not only is it less expensive, but I can order it as a subscription and it has cleared up my dogs skin and made her coat shiny as well.

When my order (fish oil in a bottle with pump) arrived without the pump the seller Wild4Dogs immed wrote back to me and aid they would credit my order and I could order another bottle at half price. So I did order the 2nd bottle which came quickly and with the pump. My dogs seems to like the "flavor" and I hope to see some joint pain relieft (I hope) and improved coats (less dry) very soon. I have been using this products for about 11 days now and so far my older dog is able to jump up on the couch and sees "less" pained getting around.
