She is also a ferocious fighter for her brethren. Lagertha’s favorite weapon is not an axe as her former husband Ragnar prefers, but a hand-forged battle-worn sword that has seen many victories against her enemies. Time and again Lagertha has proven her worth as a raider and demonstrated her skill as a leader, she is truly a great Viking Warrior. The Sword of Lagertha is based on the actual television prop and has been antiqued to replicate the time period. The sword features a pommel, guard and black blade cast in stainless steel, leather wrapped handle, display plaque and a Certificate of Authenticity.Specifications:Overall length: 36-1/8”Blade length: 28”Overall weight: 2.7 lbsBlade steel: Black 420 stainless steelPommel and guard: Cast zincPlaque: wood plaqueCertificate of authenticity includedRemailer and color sleeve Review: Perfect Sword - Apart from going to Norway and digging one up.., this is the perfect Viking Sword! Respectfully recreated from obviously accurate originals, the Sword of Legartha deserves a place of honor in your display. All components are ornate, beautiful and tightly fitted. I would’ve paid twice the asking price. If you need a Viking Sword that truly understands what a Viking sword should be… This is the One! 5 Stars Review: Don't mess with Lagertha! - First prop replica I've purchased from the manufacturer Shadow Cutlery and it's a beauty! Carbon steel blade as opposed to stainless steel used in most sword replicas, so different care techniques will be required. Build quality right up there with United Cutlery's Lord of the Rings swords. If you like the show and Lagertha you need to get this! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B074XLL9S7 | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,053,642 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #5,104 in Martial Arts Swords | | Blade Length | 28 Inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Shadow Cutlery | | Brand Name | Shadow Cutlery | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 48 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Leather | | Included Components | Sword of Lagertha | | Item Type Name | Vikings - Sword of Lagertha - History Channel Licensed Replica | | Item Weight | 2.7 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Shadow Cutlery | | Manufacturer Part Number | VK-XF24+SH8001 | | Model Number | VK-XF24+SH8001 | | Product Style | Modern | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 754032249257 | | Warranty Description | Limited | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Shadow Cutlery - **Blade Length:** 28 Inches - **Handle Material:** Leather - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![New Vikings - Sword of Lagertha - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41tODAk0DPL.jpg) ![New Vikings - Sword of Lagertha - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41MBxAiS99L.jpg) ![New Vikings - Sword of Lagertha - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51vbSG223oL.jpg) ![New Vikings - Sword of Lagertha - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51dnyyzrF5L.jpg) ![New Vikings - Sword of Lagertha - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Z-gYnJ1fL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: is it battle ready and if so how sharp is it** A: This is not a battle ready sword.
