Wow !! coming from Sennheiser HD800 to these and they completely blow the Senns away- more rounded sound - fuller bass and extraordinary detail. worth every penny.Even the packaging is a work of art

These didn't exercise my dog; most disappointing.
These were a great disappointment. Ive given a 5 star rating as they sound great but for this price I thought at the very least they also make the dinner and walk the dog. Turns out they are just headphones for listening to sounds from a device into my ear holes. My disappontment may stay with me forever as it was either buy these headphones or put a deposit on a small apartment. I could have donated the money to charity and kept a family alive for years to come but clearly the need for high quality sound entering my ears surpasses all philanthropy and regard for other human beings. I am currently considering a £2k tin opener and a £5k pair of flip flops and would happily take advice from other people with more money than sense.

Best buy ever.
I love listening to music so buying a good pair of headphones is very important to me. After shopping around, watching YouTube videos and searching the internet I decided on these, I had two choices with my money before I actually purchased these and they were... 1) use the money to pay my rent, buy a cheap car and go on holiday or2) buy these headphonesMy choice was simple buy the headphones. They really save my life on a daily basis because without these I wouldn't get any sleep as now I sleep in a M&S door way and my Walkman needs new batterys.

Ok, let's just skip to the chase... these are the finest headphones that you can get under 5 grand in my humble opinion.Final have hit the nail on the head with these. I've been using planars for 25 years, and these wipe the floor with very almost everything and anything. I compared these extensively AB testing with LCD 4, Susvara, Utopia, Kennerton Odin... top tier cans. These were the winners for me, mostly for versatility in performance. They sound fantastic with the widest variety of genres, from classical to rock to dance to folk, and everything in between. Tube amps or solid state...incredible on either. I have a preference for balanced operation via XLR, but they are sensitive enough to use on lower powered single ended sources.Believe the reviews... the quality of bass as well as imaging and texture really does stand out, as that is what usually suffers in planar models. Plus the precision construction from the Japanese, which is a little heavy, but very comfortable and durable. Final say they can take it apart, and every piece is replaceable, so really will last a very long time.Sell everything else. These are end game headphones that might last a lifetime.

Forget about the ridiculous price
The price doesn't matter because there is prime shipping. There was nothing more relieving than finding out that these £5000 headphones have Prime shipping! Sure, I went homeless straight after purchasing these, had to sell all of my possessions including my car and now live on a wet newspaper; but it's fine because there was Prime shipping and now I can mute the sound of the Tesco manager screaming at me to get up and leave because it's slowing down business. Worth an arm and a leg.
I was looking for a bargain pair of headphones, then I came across these. I thought that they were worth paying the extra couple of quid for, but then I failed to win the lottery despite two tries. At least I can wear these and they help keep the weather out as sleeping on the streets is a bit of a bind, but I don't regret my purchase one little bit. I would have given five stars but they only work on one ear.
