It appears to be running and the light is on that indicates it is making ice, but it never does make any ice. I just submitted a warranty claim with Silonn since they guarantee their products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a Limited Warranty Period of 1 year. I have been very happy with this ice maker until yesterday when it stopped working. In fact it worked so well that we even considered buying a second one for our home and another as a gift. So I am giving this ice make 2 stars because it stopped working after only 7 months. I will increase the rating to at least 4 stars if they replace the ice maker quickly, and lower the rating if they do not honor their warranty. I will update my review once I find out how well Silonn honors their warranties. Review: Quality ice maker - We have had this for quite a few months and works so well! The ice produces rather quickly. I gave it only four stars because it is a little loud. ## Features - Smart Ice Control: Schedule your ice making with the Silonn App, use timer function to get your nugget ice ready. It also alerts you when the ice maker countertop's status changes, including pebble ice full or lack of water - Nicer Iced Drinks: The chewable nugget ice has a softer texture and a larger surface area that chills drinks faster. Experience coolness in all its fullness - Ice On-Demand: Enjoy your favorite drink the right way right away. Fresh nugget ice start making in just 6 minutes. Keep parties going with the ice flowing - Intuitive Control and Clear Status: See status at your phone, with no need to walk over and check. The control button and status indicator are also positioned prominently on the front for easier access and visibility - Effective Ice-Making: The daily output of 33 lbs is about 48 cups (8.5 fl oz) full of nugget ice. It easily meets the needs of large families and parties. Make great iced tea, coffee, or cocktails. Even chill beers and keep food fresh ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0DJMDSL8Q | | Best Sellers Rank | #183,490 in Kitchen (See Top 100 in Kitchen) #192 in Ice Cube Makers | | Brand Name | Silonn | | Capacity | 33 Pounds | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (50) 4.1 out of 5 stars | | Included Components | Ice Scoop, Ice Basket, User manual | | Item Dimensions D X W X H | 28.7D x 22.6W x 32.8H centimeters | | Manufacturer | Silonn | | Material Type | Plastic, Stainless Steel, Silicone | | Model Name | SLIM24B-WF | | Model Number | SLIM24B-WF | | Part Number | SLIM24B-WF | | Refrigerant | R600a | | Upc | 810158826281 | | Voltage | 115 Volts | | Wattage | 150 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Silonn - **Capacity:** 33 Pounds - **Model name:** SLIM24B-WF - **Product dimensions:** 28.7D x 22.6W x 32.8H centimeters - **Wattage:** 150 watts ## Images ![Silonn Nugget Ice Maker Countertop, WiFi Pebble Ice Machine with Soft Chewable Ice, Timer Function and Status Alerts with Silonn App, 33lbs/24H for Home, Kitchen, Office - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wIC7MKHNL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why isn’t my ice maker working sometimes?** A: Power on, but no lights or response → possible hardware failure. Power on, lights work, but no ice → possible issue in the ice-making process. Ice is made but output is abnormal → possible compressor issue, refrigerant depletion, or no cooling. **Q: Why is my ice maker leaking water?** A: Water leaks before ice making → there may be a defect in the machine. Water at the base during operation → likely condensation from cold surfaces, not a leak. Overfilling water above the max line can also cause spills. **Q: Is it normal for the ice maker to be noisy?** A: Noise comes from the cooling fan, solenoid valves, and motor. Normal household conversation masks typical operating sounds. Noise tolerance varies, so it’s best used in environments with some background sound. **Q: Is cleaning the ice maker difficult?** A: Use clean, soft water for best results. Empty unused water after use to prevent bacterial growth and reduce cleaning effort. Keep the machine in a clean, dry environment to minimize dirt and bacteria. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Great Ice Maker - But It Stopped Working - Waiting To See If Silonn Honors Their Warranty *by G***R on 21 April 2026* We purchased our Silonn ice maker on August 7, 2025 (after previously owning a GE Opal II ice maker) and it has worked perfectly for 7 months, until yesterday when it stopped making ice. The ice produces rather quickly. I gave it only four stars because it is a little loud. ### ⭐ Over priced hunk of metal *by B***Y on 12 July 2025* I wanted an ice maker that creates the soft nugget type of ice and this one promised to do just that. After receiving it, I was surprised to see how small the ice maker was for the price I paid. There is enough ice for one cup filled with ice and that’s all. Even though I was disappointed; figured I’d just keep it and move on. Less than a month of using it, it began flashing red even with the water filled and shut itself off. Got up two mornings in a row to no ice and had enough so am returning it. Don’t waste your money on this one. ## Frequently Bought Together - Silonn Nugget Ice Maker Countertop, WiFi Pebble Ice Machine with Soft Chewable Ice, Timer Function and Status Alerts with Silonn App, 33lbs/24H for Home, Kitchen, Office - Ice Machine Cleaner and Descaler 16 fl oz Descaler | Ice Maker Cleaner Compatible with All Major Brands (Scotsman, KitchenAid, Affresh, Opal, Manitowoc) - Metal Ice Scoop 6 Oz，Kitchen Ice Scooper for Ice Maker, Small Food Scoops for Bar Party Wedding Pet Dog Food, Stainless Steel Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/740461987-silonn-nugget-ice-maker-countertop-wifi-pebble-ice-machine-soft](https://www.desertcart.be/products/740461987-silonn-nugget-ice-maker-countertop-wifi-pebble-ice-machine-soft) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
