Its superior wear tolerance and adaptability to diverse soil types—including sandy and moderately wet soils—make it a top choice for both extreme climates and home DIY projects. With moderate nitrogen needs and precise mowing height recommendations, PC2.0 ensures a lush, resilient green that stands out season after season. ## Description PC2.0 pays tribute to the past while looking to the future. Its dense, vertical and aggressive growth habit competes exceptionally well against Poa annua, while displaying an impressive medium green color and a very fine leaf texture. Aggressiveness, vigor and wear tolerance make Bentgrass Creeping PC2.0 grass seed natural for vegetables, tees and streets. The ability of PC2.0 bent turf to operate in a wide range of conditions makes this green seed suitable virtually worldwide. Golf course architects have specified PC2.0 Bentgrass seeds for extreme hot and cold areas, and PC2.0 Creeping Bent has survived the humidity where bermuda grass used to be the standard. PC2.0 bent turf is designed for golf greens and widely managed tees and lawn bowling surfaces. PC2.0 works best in soils with a pH of 5.5 to 8. It has a moderate nitrogen requirement with 1-2 pounds of real N per 1 square feet per year suitable in most situations. The optimal cutting height for Bentgrass putting greens creeping is 3/16" to 5/16", but can be adjusted more or less depending on maintenance practices and intended use. Creeping bent grass works best on a sandy floor and tolerates clay soils with proper drainage. Most Bentgrass varieties do not work well in wet areas, however, Penncross can tolerate saturated floor conditions for short periods of time. Growing Bentgrass is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, and this golf seed is a great choice for home DIY at home. ## Features - Aggressiveness, vigor and wear tolerance make Bentgrass Creeping PC2.0 grass seed natural for vegetables, tees and streets. We first bought 2 pounds but it wasn’t enough. So we bought another 2 pounds. This, 4 pounds worked for us. It has been a month and it is coming in strong. **Q: Is there a shelf life? e.g. Can I buy it now (for a gift) and plant in 5 months?** A: It died within 2 months. Don’t buy it **Q: What kind of grass that green all year ?** A: Creeping Bentgrass. It is used on golf greens. Bentgrass is like Bermuda but stays green all year. Bermuda is a warm soil grass and Bentgrass is a cool soil grass like bluegrass. Seeds are very very small. I use a kitchen strainer to apply. **Q: how much do i need for a 1000 square feet putting green?** A: 1.0-1.5 pounds per 1000 square feet. Use straw or hydro mulch and crimp in, as the seed will tend to migrate and become a nuisance in the margins of your yard Fertilize frequently with a low analysis fertilizer ( the every holiday system works well).
