These attractive treated, timber posts are 18" (45 cm) high, they are ideal for preventing people from driving on the grass on verges, driveways etc, they have a metal spike in the bottom which pushes into the ground and can be easily removed and replaced to cut the grass under them. They have a reflector on one side to increase visibility. Sold in packs of 6.

**Q: Are these the posts we have seen on Emmerdale**
A: They are great and have been in my garden for many years!

**Q: If purchased, i intend to install permanently. Can someone just pull the wood of fr the metal spike?**
A: I don’t know if you can pull the spike off but you could cut it off with a hacksaw.  I put some 15 mm copper tube into the ground which the spike fits into so the posts can be removed for grass cutting.

**Q: do you need to get permission to put these on your verge ?**
A: Yes if the land belongs to the council or if the verge is near the highway.

**Q: What is the cross-section size please?**
A: The timber is 72 - 75 mm square, the spike is 12mm solid steel. I hope this helps

These were good quality even if a bit expensive for what they are. The iron rod could be longer to give them more stability but the do the job. I just needed them to discourage people parking on my open fronted lawn to the front of my house. Seems to have worked.
