UPDATE: I’ve resolved the charging issue. The battery takes a firm whack to get it to seat in the charger, but then charges fine. A good pop on the other end gets it out.The battery will not properly seat and make contact with the charger. In order to get the battery to charge I have to wiggle it around until contact is made and hold it in place. Once charged, the battery fits well into the tools and so far, works well. Seller contacted me about this issue and worked to resolve it.

Bought this battery on recommendation from YouTube channel Project Farm. It works great on my dewalt impact, plenty of battery life and its constant. I will buy a couple more for my other dewalt tools. I highly recommend

These betteries seem well built. The voltage seems correct for the 5 Amps after some quick use. They fit good in all three of the Dewalt tools I own. I havent used or owned them for long, so I cannot comment on life or durability, but I will post an update if I have problems. The only thing I noticed is that when I received the two batteries I ordered, one batter said it was at 2/3 bars charged. When I first tried to charge it on my OEM Dewalt charger it said it was full immediately, but showed still 2/3 bars. After some 3-5 minute use in a tool, I threw it back on the charge and it charged it bavk up to completely full, and dusplaying 3/3 charge bars on the battery. So I believe the problem was solved

It is hard not to recommend this battery. I really like Dewalt and they are basically the only tools I buy. However, I have had bad luck with their batteries lately and they are too expensive to have them fail so soon.I have been using this battery for about 6 months almost every day. I have not had any issues and it still holds a full charge. A full charge seems to last about the same as a standard 5.0 Ah Dewalt battery.For about half the price, it seems to be a great value. Especially since I have had several Dewalt batteries fail in the first year, and others that get dropped, left out in the cold, lost, or otherwise ruined. For me, batteries are a disposable tool as a construction site is not a friendly place. Why pay full price for a battery that probably won't live to see its first birthday?

I receive the battery on time and it works as hope. It came with nearly a full change so I plugged it into my drill to test immediately. Ran like a champ. I then placed it on the charger to get a full charge. Once fully charged I decided to see how long it would last. I have a about 9" dead tree in my back yard. Figured it would be a good test for the sawzall as well. Had the tree down in a few minutes and cut into 18" fire logs in another 10. So I cut through the tree about 10 times and the battery showed 2/3 charge.I mention great customer service, because I had issue with another battery that I ordered and they worked with me to make certain that I was happy and had the correct battery.

The product came nicely packed with instructs and took it's first charge with no issues what so ever. However, after that it would not recharge and has been a dead unit - straight to the trash.

I've recommended this battery to so many people!!! I absolutely love these batteries!!! I've had them for over a year and a half. I'm a contractor, so these batteries get used hard!!! I have 6 of them. I had 1 fail on me, but unlike DeWalt, from whom it is a nightmare getting warranty out of, this company sent me a new battery in a matter of days!!! They perform exactly as well as any DeWalt battery, but are a fraction of the cost. This battery and this company are both TOP NOTCH, and I strongly recommend them!!! Good work guys!!! You have a loyal customer for life!!!

I have bought three of these batteries, the oldest is two years old. I find that they run almost as long at the OEM Dewalt battery and the cost is about a1/3 of the Dewalt. On YouTube, there is a channel (Project Farm) that did a test of three 20v replacement batteries compared to the Dewalt OEM. This battery performed better then all others and was almost as good as the OEM. Overall due to the price it was deemed a better choice than the OEM Dewalt.(note: I had one battery fail, I contacted the company and they offered to replace at no charge. That is great customer service!)
