Tiefes Handicraft Bird Bath - Feeder Stone Garden Outdoor Weatherproof

The bird bath matches the photos exactly and is just what we were looking for. It seems very sturdy and my hope it that it will perform well in bad weather as it is cast stone; our last bird bath broke when it snowed (ceramic). The little hedgehog is a cute addition and the bath is more natural looking than most - our plan is to have a meadow area to attract wildlife and this should fit nicely.Edited to add: I've now had this bird bath since Jan 2013 (it's now March 2015) and the birds regularly use this bird bath to drink and bathe. I've had no problems with it at all. The colour is perhaps started to go a little bit, but it's had all this time out in the weather and with me cleaning it regularly.We've actually built our own heater that this now sit on. It only warms very slightly when we turn it on, just to stave off ice forming during the winter. I'm very satisfied and it still looks great.The only other review at the moment says the birds don't use this product. I would suggest researching positioning, considering cover etc because there doesn't seem to be a problem with the bath itself in my experience. I bought one of these as I wanted a bath that wouldn't blow away in the wind, that looks nice and will last a long time. Well it does all of those things well. However having had the bath for about a year, I have yet to see one bird drink from it. I am convinced the reason is the small hedgehog sitting at the edge. I think birds are scared of it! I have my bath on a picnic table and I have seen a number of birds hop up to it very cautiously, stop, look at it, then fly off. It happens in very dry weather! I've actually decided now that I will try to break the hedgehog off, which will of course spoil the look of it and may break the entire thing. I would advise against buying this product.

Schnell Lieferung, schöner Artikel.Ich habe die Tränke vornehmlich gekauft, weil wir in unserer nahen Umgebung keine Teiche o.ä. aber ein Igelchen haben. Die Vögel und Katzen mögen den Wasserspender aber auch. Und da das gute Stück mit ca 1 Liter Wasser gefüllt werden kann, reicht die Tränke auch für alle.Update: Seit 7 Jahren nenne ich die Tränke nun schon mein Eigen. Sie hat inzwischen einen Umzug mit gemacht und steht das ganze Jahr über draußen. Es sieht noch genauso schön aus, wie am ersten Tag. Keine Frostschäden oder ähnliches. Ich und die Tiere in unserem Garten sind nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. :) Gute Qualität. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Top Vogeltränke!!! Sie ist sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter draußen und hält was sie verspricht, sieht dabei noch toll aus. Das bisschen Rost, was sich da bildet, kann man ganz einfach mit einer Bürste abbürsten. Das lässt sich aber auch bei den anderen Vogeltränken nicht vermeiden. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!! Ich habe 2 von derselben Serie gekauft und nicht bereut.

Eine optisch sehr schöne Tränke. Die Vögel in meinem Garten nehmen sie leider nicht an, ich glaube sie ist zu flach.

Ich habe die Vogeltränke mit Igel als Geschenk gekauft. Die Beschenkte war davon total begeistert und hat die Vogeltränke sofort im Garten aufgestellt - im Gegensatz zur bisherigen Vogeltränke wurde diese schon am nächsten Morgen von den Vögeln als Vogelbad angenommen. Die Vogeltränke ist sauber verarbeitet und hält dicht - verliert also kein Wasser, was ja auch Sinn macht. Vom Aussehen her bekommt die Tränke volle Punktzahl, da sie in Echt noch besser aussieht und sich farblich absolut harmoisch auf der grünen Wiese ins Gartenbild integriert.
