I ran my first for over 5 years, bought this second one and installed as preventative. Since my 50cc Tao Tao is a major (fill the blank) to change these belts, I buy one I know will last for many years and prolonged rides. I swear by this product...scooters and bike are no fun to push. Don't buy less than the best

After my stock belt snapped in 9 months I opted for this kevlar belt that was 3x the price so I would not end up stranded on the side of the road anytime soon, yet to my dismay this new belt snapped last night after about 3 hrs of run time. To be fair to the belt I think that the clutch might be getting worn and possibly have something to do with wear and tear, but I can say that I do not plan on buying another one of these overpriced belts anytime soon, instead I opted to buy 3 stock belts.

Used this on a TaoTao 50cc scooter. Was easy to install and a significant upgrade. Had the bike for several years and the belt never popped despite heavy and hilly use.

I had a problem with my gearbox where it locked up and it was a good thing that I had this belt on because it did not break when it locked up. I was surprised when I opened up the transmission during my investigation and found a ball-bearing failed in my gearbox.

the more expensive KEVLAR belt did not do any better than the less expensive belts on the market. I sell and fix scooters of all kinds here in southern Nevada, and the high heat here in the Mojave Desert is just not kind on belt driven scooters. Any suggestions of products would be helpful.

So far so good, we will see how long this one lasts. I needed this for my sons TAOTAO 50 scooter. He is pretty hard on it and drives it a lot. The original lasted about 6 months and 3000 miles so we will see how long this one lasts.

This is suppose to be a great belt. It shred 1 week ago. Never seen such poor quality. Not worth the money in the least.
