Great value
Bargain, well worth the money. The only downside is the clasp but at this price you can swap out for a machine clasp.

Great watch for the price
I bought this as a nice looking, knock-around watch. I have a large watch collection, most all high end and I am not gentle with them. I decided to get a nice, inexpensive watch to wear when I didn't want to worry about marring the watch.I had done this once before; I ordered an Invicta Rolex look-alike, from Amazon Invicta Men's 8928OB Pro Diver Gold Stainless Steel Two-Tone Automatic Watch and returned it immediately. It was lightweight, and looked and felt cheap, very cheap. One look at the thin layer of paint on the bezel and I knew this would scratch in a minute. And, it was lighter than any watch I've ever held, and it was just ... well, send it back. I wouldn’t be seen wearing such an obvious, from feet away, piece of junk. So, deciding that I once again was ready to try a look-alike (I won't say knock-off, there is no attempt to present this watch as a Rolex, though the style is very similar) I read the reviews and decided to give it a try.Incredible difference between this and the Invicta.First, the packaging is very nice, like a high-end watch. Of course, I just toss the package anyway, but it's nice to see that they take pride in the product. It comes with a tool to pop the pins that adjust the bracelet size (more on that later) instructions in Chinese (this is not a complicated watch; most adults do not need to be told how to set time on a watch) and even a plastic credit card type certification/guarantee card. Very nice.I immediately noticed two things about the watch ... 1) it's heft; not quite Rolex but not far off; this watch feels good on your wrist and 2) the packaging was wonderful. The shrink wrap around the watch was so tight that I did not even realize it was there. It took a bit to get off but that's a sign that the manufacturer cares that you receive it in good shape. That, and the fact that it had a foam sheet around it and it was presented on a pillow, and surrounded by a nice sturdy presentation box, will make sure that when you get the watch, it will be scratch and dent free. The watch: I do not expect that any of my friends will think this is a Rolex, and that is not my intent. They will, perhaps, say "nice Rolex look-alike". Unlike a real Rolex, the bezel and face are not enamel and so the color is shinier and lighter than a genuine Rolex. That is an instant give away as to its make. But, like an actual Rolex it has a cyclops (magnifier above the date) which I think is sapphire like the crystal, at least I'm hoping it's not acrylic. For your info, it is glued on, not part of the crystal but, then again, so is the Rolex. The date is a bit flatter, more matte than the Rolex, again this is not enameled. It seems to keep time accurately enough for non-track events and will likely not lose or gain any more than typical automatic watches. I will get back to this after I have it a while. The bracelet is nice, a little shinier again than a genuine Rolex, but the clasp is an excellent design, much nicer than any watch that I've seen in this price range. About that tool ... it is a punch. As with many watches, cheap and high end, the links are held together with compression pins. To take them out you use the punch on the rounded end of the pin and push it through the link. To reinsert, you put the rounded end back in and tap the compression end (small split on the end of the pin). I tried punching the pin out but all I achieved was bending the punching tool. Actually, that's a good sign that they are using the right size pin and it will hold the links without falling out. It took my jeweler all of 5 minutes to size it for me (having the right tool helps). The crown is a screw down, i.e., you unscrew the crown to free it to set the time. Setting the time and date is just like any other time/date watch. Different pull-outs of the stem set either time or the date. Then, you press the crown in to enable you to screw it down tight and locked. Very nice feature on a watch this price. There is an exhibition back which, again, is a nice feature in this price watch. The view of the watch mechanism isn't great, but you don't wear the watch upside down. The bezel is firm and stable when rotated, and like the Rolex it is unidirectional. As others have mentioned, this is most definitely not a GMT watch, that description should be changed. Having read enough reviews I did not expect it to be GMT so no disappointment there. One reviewer sent the watch back because the face was too small. I don't know what he was expecting, this watch has a 40mm case, the same as a Rolex Submariner.Hopefully this watch will hold up. I’d expect scratches since the material is much softer than a higher end watch, but that's why I bought it. Other than some watches in titanium that I own, almost all scratch, especially the 18k gold watches. This will scratch a bit more, but then, that's why I bought it. At this price, I can buy another if this gets really messed up.If you're expecting to fool people into believing that this is a genuine Rolex, well I guess it depends on who you hang around with. I am sure that many people who aren't familiar with genuine Rolexes might not notice the difference. If you're just looking for a decent watch at a decent price, I think you might be surprised at the quality of this watch given what it costs.

Shockingly Nice Watch
I love the look of the you-know-which watch submariner with the green face and green bezel, but $9,000 for a watch is way over the top even if I could afford it. So, I bought the Stuhrling green bezel black face, and the Invicta green bezel black face. I gave away the Invicta right away because, though a nice watch, the crystal was not crystal clear. Then I saw the Loreo, green bezel and green face, and ordered it. It just arrived. I am giving away the Stuhrling, also a nice watch. The Loreo shipped from China and arrived in a nice yellow taped package, with a styrofoam box which made quite a mess to unpack. Within the styrofoam is a non-descript box, an instruction booklet in Chinese only, and a really beautiful watch. The bracelet band is large. I have large wrists, and I will have to have at least 1 maybe 2 links removed. The band is much more substantial than the bands on the Invicta or Stuhrling which are a bit light. The crystal is clear. I flashed the face with an LED miltech flashlight and the hands glow nicely, the pips where the numbers would be also glow, a bit.Unlike the Stuhrling and Invicta which I bought, the Loreo is an automatic watch. The second hand sweep is extremely and unexpectedly smooth in its movement. The Loreo has a lock down stem, I adjusted the date and time without issue. The Loreo has a wind-up ability in addition to the auto wind with movement capacity. The back of the Loreo reveals the automatic movement which is beautifully finished. A really nice piece of work. The case and watch are substantial beautifully finished and have a quality feel.I am curious as to the Loreo's accuracy, no idea yet as I've had it for less than an hour. So far so good!I have a Seiko 23 jewel SARB033 which I love, but which is not much of a time piece. It loses about 30 second a day, on a good day.If the Loreo matches the accuracy of my Seiko 5 automatic (less than 10 second a day) I will be very happy. All in all, so far, I am extremely impressed and happy with the Loreo. It is a beautiful watch. Now let's see if it keeps time.Cheers. Nice work Loreo.UPDATE:I had 2 links removed, the watch fits perfectly, not too tight, not too loose, and, all in all, it is very comfortable.Accuracy? Folks, I think I got the red heifer of Loreos. I set it the day I received it, 9/22, today is 9/25. It has lost 10 seconds in 3 days. So, this Loreo is accurate to ~3 seconds per day. (and that is without putting it on a winder over night) Of course, i do not know whether the accuracy of this watch is representative of the line, but this is outstanding performance!! Where do they get their movements?!?I have a Seiko 5 automatic ($88 when purchased ) which is accurate to about 10 seconds per day. I have a Seiko SARB033 (about $300) which is accurate to about 15-30 seconds per day (if I wind it and put it on a winder then closer to 15). I had a Tissot Le Locle COSC (see my review) which was accurate to 2 seconds per day.If this Loreo lasts, this is my new favorite watch, and it sure is pretty.UPDATE: JANUARY 2, 2017This Loreo is silly accurate. Settled down to about 2 seconds a day slow without resting it on a winder over night. This is my most accurate automatic watch: Seiko 5, Seiko SARB033, Rotary, Invicta ...

Seems a good Value for the Price
So obviously this watch is not a Rolex, it's a relatively inexpensive homage. That said, the crystal is sapphire (at least according to my diamond tester) though the rear display back is not. The bezel is either steel or aluminum. It's an automatic watch, an ST16 Seagull movement I think. The crown action is a little rough but it works -- you can pull it out and quick set the date and it does hack, though it's kind of sloppy (you have to jiggle the crown a little when pulling out to get it to hack). The brushwork and polishing seems OK, the movement is pretty attractive to look at, and the clasp has a button release and a fold over keeper so it's not likely to come off. It uses pins to hold the links together which requires the right tools to resize and some patience (buy the tools or get a watchmaker to do it for you or maybe watch an instructional video). It's easy to do it wrong and have the watch fall off your wrist (not the fault of the bracelet) so make sure you countersink the pin after putting it back in. And putting it back in backwards would be bad, so be careful. The lume is poor -- the bezel isn't lumed and the indices will sorta last all night but really dimly, but the hands will be invisible long before that due to being relatively thin and having less lume. Don't count on the lume for anything much. It's an attractive and comfortable watch to wear though I can't comment on the longevity. Make sure you handwind it when you get it to get it going initially. Accuracy is very bad unwound. Once you start wearing it you should be OK. Once wound, it behaves well on the timegrapher showing the various positions from about +8s/d to +23s/d (every watch will be different). On my wrist on the first day, it's running about +15s/d which is pretty good for the movement I think. If you're wondering if you like dive watches, might be a cheap way to find out. Buying from Amazon means you can return it if it's a bad one and you'll get it MUCH MUCH faster (travel from China is slow and my last purchase had to go back and it's been in Chinese customs for 6 weeks now without moving, probably lost for good). Much better to buy it from Amazon at a higher price and be able to return it easily and get another one.So it's quite a good value for money and quite a competent watch.
