My original, overly enthusiastic review is below. This is my edit for June, 2022. Changed the 5-star rating to 3-star. Still a good wet location connector, but now I need a couple more and I see the PRICE has far more than doubled since I purchased one in 2020 for $3.19. Now they're $7.49. I understand we're still in supply chain recovery from the pandemic and other factors, but a $4.30 increase on this one item is nothing short of outrageous price-gouging, especially when you consider how much corporations have increased their profit margins during this same period. There's no condition I can fathom where this little connector should cost more than lunch from Whataburger. Ridiculous.Oddly, I couldn't find one of these at a big box store OR the local hardware store, so I tried a "creative" approach that was a lot of work and ultimately didn't do the job. I know better, I was just being impatient and not wanting to wait for the shipment to arrive. But when this is what you need, there really are no substitutes. I'm running Romex through RMC underground to power a fountain, and this was what I needed! Very easy to use and makes the job of putting all the pieces together correctly SO much easier!
