She loves pictures, but everyone always sends her prints and she isn't able to display them!! They just sit in boxes in her closet. I had once mentioned to her that she should get a digital camera, but she was very scared to use one.. she thought she would never understand it. I wanted to make sure that a) it was extremely simple to use, b) the buttons were big, easy to see, and not complicated, c) the picture quality was pretty decent, d) the camera used AA batteries (so if the batteries died, she could replace them easily instead of having to recharge a rechargable battery when on vacation), and e) the camera was easy to hold, reducing the chances of dropping it, and not super small so that she wouldn't loose it. Despite being the kind of camera that has a lithium battery included, this one comes with 2 double A batteries, which is inconvenient at first, but not if you invest in some rechargeable double A batteries and a charger for cheap at a pharmacy or electronic store. It has great resolution, it's incredibly "easy" to use as its title suggests, it's inexpensive, and the photos it takes are really high quality! The camera itself has a lot of features, such as letting you crop, or rotate your pics and it takes great videos too! It doesn't have a built in speaker, though, but it's sound quality is great too. And another thing I love about this camera is that there is no software you have to "pre-install" on your computer in order to use it. You just plug it in, import the photos onto your hard drive, and you're set! What bundle?** A: I don't really know what they mean, I think it came with camera case and usb wire... I must tell you that the camera worked real well for a while but then I can't get the flash to work anymore... looked on internet and seems like other ppl had the same problem.. sad, cause I really liked the camera and Kodak "used " to be American. **Q: When viewing a video on the camera, can you hear the sound? Good sound through the computer after uploading. **Q: Does this camera run aa or aaa batteries** A: any 2aa (double a) batteries work. BUT: normal everyday inexpensive alkaline batteries fail rather quicky. the camera only uses the first, strongest half of the battery before going dark. using a battery tester you'll find the "dead" batteries in your camera still hold half their charge, the needle is in the yellow, far from the red and not too far from the green. these camera "deads" can be thrown into any toy, flashlight, remote, radio, or other basic device and behave near new. lithium ion batteries work longer because the top 50% of it's juice last longer but you still only get the top cream 50% before camera goes dark. iv'e had my little blue easyshare c182 since 2010 (near 12 years now) and my advice to anyone with this camera is to invest in rechargeable AA's. Yes, they will only function at the top half of it's charge but so what? Swap the pair 50%ers with your spare 100% pair. by the time THOSE are "dead" your original pair are topped off 100% charge. you'll never again throw away half full batteries and you'll save $100s over the years. **Q: My easyshare c182 is old, but has a place for 2 aa lithium ion batteries, not one. where can i find the right batteries for my 2-holer?** A: I always used rechargable AA batteries in my camera.
