bought these for my girlfriend to get her into some bag work. make excellent bag gloves. Not quite as plush as what I'm used to with 16oz gloves, so I do not know that I would use them for sparring.The stitching all looks really good and materials appear to be high quality. My only real complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a way to get the gloves quite as tight as I am accustomed to, and the gloves are capable of sliding off both mine and my girlfriend's hands.Overall, very pleased with these gloves, look phenomenal, feel great as bag gloves. Don't use them for sparring unless you feel like being a jerk to your partner. Always like to support a small business, and I look forward to future products this company comes out with.

This first-hand analysis is of a relatively new apparel company; called Kakoa Sports.The name is derived from the Hawaiian term “ka koa”; which translates to “the warrior”.The product is pair of 16 0z gloves. Overall I'm satisfied with the durability, the look, and the comfort. The gloves are made of synthetic leather, and right now come in a white and blue color design. I've been using the gloves for 6 months now, and they've held up great! the padding hasn't softened up and the stitching isn't coming undone at all. I purchased them 6 months ago, and each time I use the gloves; I'm never disappointed. They're great for bag work, sparring, and mitt work. The gloves don't have a bad stench after each use, and using an old trick of laundry dryer sheets will keep them both smelling fresh and new for the next use. I'm so excited about my gloves; that I'm buying the new black and blue gloves they just released; this coming week!Pros: Great padding, not heavy when throwing punches, great hand protection.Cons: None at this time

These gloves are beautiful, and we'll made. I got these for my wife, and she loves them. She trains 2-3 times a week, and her hands hurt less since switching to these. They are just perfect for training. They are also aesthetically awesome. It sounds funny, but you want your gloves to say something about who you are . . . Fighting, after all, comes from the heart. I am an instant fan of Kakoa, and the quality of their workmanship. I will be on the lookout for more products from them.

These are great! I've had them for a month now and I used them 3 - 4 times a week. They were a bit snug at first, but have since loosened up a bit and they fit great. They feel even better when i hit the bag. I've received quite a few compliments on them from other members in the kickboxing class i go to. I would recommend these to anyone who needs a "go-to" pair of gloves for their bag workouts. you won't be disappointed.

This was my first time buying this brand and I have to say I really like it. I have small hands and these gloves are perfect.The padding is great and I feel really good when I used them for the first time sparing. Highly recommend them.

Let me start off by saying that these gloves are an excellent purchase and you shouldn't hesitate to get them. I purchased and have had these gloves for a few days now and have had a few heavy bag sessions with them and sparred with them once. They are comfortable, breathable, and stylish. I personally love the way they look and they're made of durable material. Padding is nice. One thing i noticed is that right out of the packaging they smelt a little odd but this isnt a product issue and im sure it will go away soon. Also i had a seam detach a bit by the strap and had to cut the thread (only about an inch). Without the wrist wraps these gloves are a bit big on me. I am 19 M 5'8 155 pounds with slightly smaller than average hand size. But with hand wraps i had no issues at all. I like these gloves a lot and the company is fantastic as well.

Great gloves. Very nice quality. They seemed tight in the finger area at first, but upon using them, I don't find it to be bothersome. I guess they are simply less roomy than my previous gloves. They've been working really well for my aerobic kickboxing class. If there's a negative, it's that there is so much good padding that it makes push ups difficult. This may be a concern if you're in an aerobic kickboxing or similar type class, where boxing is mixed with planks, push ups and the like.
