It's still a solid machine, not worth the current price + fixes required to make it run.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Edit 3/14: Raising back to 4 stars due to the sellers support who I have been working with. The software and documentation was provided, and I have gone through all of it. I still would have ran into issues with assembly that wasn't explained (only an issue if you are new to this hobby). Laser engraving software is in Chinese only, so looking for an equivalent there that has multi language support. That said, Kreatit customer support has really tried their best to make me happy, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt, and raise it back to 4.I'm giving this a 4 star only because I needed to fiddle with it abit and perform some minor surgery to get the part cooling fan to work. Initial thoughts are I should have grabbed 1 or 2 more, especially at the price. I hope Kreatit keeps the price down as this is a lovely little platform to print on.Initial thoughts:Pros: - Took about 15 min to assemble, and another 2 hours or so to debug before I could print (might be a con, but I liked it) - 24v!! Heat bed goes from 0-60 in under 2 min, good luck getting that out of a similar sized 12v machine - Ability to switch out tool heads, or pop in a E3D v6, awesome job! - Super quiet as compared to some of my other similar machines - RETRACTED: 2/3rds the price of a competitors machine (with Amazon and overnight shipping... /drool) They bumped the price up by $200 no longer in the affordable category 8^( - Nice build plate with FLAT glass and interesting build texture on one side - Lots of extras, replacement bits - Quick connectors on every part, easy to replace bits later if required - Direct drive, not a bowden setup - Laser! Yeah it came with that - Mainboard looks like it has room for a LOT more options/upgrades down the roadCons: (why it gets 4 stars instead of 5) - Build plate with textured side was packed with the texture facing down, rubbed a lot of it off in transit - Hotend needed to be reassembled - Negative wire for part cooling fan was broken above the quick connector, needed to be repaired - No external mosfet for the heatbed - SD card slot is a bit of a stretch to get a card in there, as the main board is just shy of being flush with the control box - No safety glasses for the laserAll in all, I'll put this machine through it's paces, but I'm liking it so far!
