I've gone to bike stores. I've gone to orbea themselves, I even checked with the makers of my trainer, I have the Wahoo kicker snap and they told me I needed an adapter not just the through axle but they don't make it anymore. But I can find it third party. This is exactly that. That. You don't just need the thru axle. You also need the adapter that allows it to fit onto the kicker snap. Now that I have it, I can ride my beloved bike indoors!
